  1. Walleye and muskie lol, just bonus pics from the weekend not bonus fish? To clarify a buddy of mine has a bit of property on a tiny lake that only holds stunted skis and some ok walters. Never actually tried for wallys there myself till this trip because the other two guys hadnt caught anything and were getting restless so we went through the boxes and dug out a couple jigs and started drifting. I caught 2 pics and a perch and they caught squat! Poor buggers.
  2. Long story short pulled a little fattie carp off my dock a little while ago and a couple pics from fishin on Saturday.
  3. If i had 1000 extra bucks id be right there too lol
  4. Pm sent, get back to me when you can.
  5. Ive gotten lobsters from sobeys stores before and they were pretty good.
  6. If that doesnt work you can try running a spoon off the ball, i havent seen too many deep water fish that wont hit a good spoon.
  7. Yep, obriens muskie was caught in blackstone harbour off the moon. Ive been there a couple times for skis but no luck, i stayed at a place west of the 400 that sits in a bay of the moon right below the falls. If you fish that bay and under the falls you might be able to pick up some wallys or smallmouth. I believe its the first unpassable barrier if you were to come in the moon from georgian bay. Best of luck to you on your trip, be careful in the woods bay area its a decent sized stretch of water with some bigger boats around.
  8. Yep the sprawl never stops, as a machine operator i have poured foundations on what used to be an old stomping ground where i used to go off roading and partying and having fun. A pretty sombre day in my life for sure. It hurts to watch the places you love disappear. These companies dont play games a lot of them bought farm properties 10-15-20 years ago for well above market value than allow the farmers to stay until the timing is right than boot them out and slam down a subdivision faster than your head can spin. Its all legal so nothing can be done in most cases however, areas like this should be left alone but the mighty dollar wins every time.
  9. Sounds like a fun trip, glad to hear you got into some fish!
  10. Awesome fishing! That first ski is a beautiful feeling!
  11. Nice work dude! I just got off the water myself and went 0/0 in 2 sessions in haliburton. Only fished a total of about 5 hours at morning and night.
  12. Nice work brother! Glad to see youre on them simcoe gators! Im hoping to get out next weekend.
  13. These people will never stop they threaten the very lifestyle that most of us here enjoy. What ever happened to minding your own damn business? I guarantee every single one of these "activists" does something that would upset most of us but you dont see us cramming our ideals down their throats! Im starting to think i might mount a fish replica on the front of my ranger and a fake moose head on the back...good conversation starter?
  14. Im fairly certain there are medicines out there that have far worse side effects than pot, its the stigma alone that makes this such a gong show. Smoking pot has got to be the least effective and most unhealthy way to consume it for its medical benefits, im glad this ruling has put this to bed and i hope the people who need it most can make the best use of it now.
  15. Im terribly sorry for your loss.
  16. Count me in that group! I havent got a musky over 40" in the boat in over 6 years!!! Im heading to haliburton with the wife and baby this weekend and i hope to sneak out for a couple hours. At which point i would take a 30" and be happy?
  17. My condolences to his family, i agree that any talk of safety cant be a bad thing if it changes someones behaviour for the better even if it gets a bit silly at times. I myself might start going in the pail instead of over the rail...
  18. Simcoe is terrible, between the half huts left out and the sheer amount of garbage it gets ridiculous quick. We keep a garbage bag in the hut and take it home when its full. The coyotes will actually come out on the ice to scavenge at night just cause its an easy food source.
  19. I have a small boarding ladder built into the back of my 20 footer, nothing on the 12 ft tinny.
  20. Never will change, considering the way people are now im surprised its not worse.
  21. Try hot dogs, im sure there is plenty of feet in them?
  22. Thats right by the ice palace in keswick, i live in the south end and it missed us completely. I havent heard anything yet but i do know it got pretty hairy in the north end.
