  1. pretty sure I saw the same news as TJ (CP 24). People were complaining about the lack of snow (because it was raining at the time). They interviewed the girl who rents out the skates at City Hall and the poor wet hot dog man who had not had a reason to touch his wieners all day. 2 worst interviews ever
  2. sounds like my in-laws attended the game
  3. snowing in Barrie...although you could say that about 200 days a year and be accurate.
  4. I got to get a copy of the regs....brought my boat down to Niagara figuring musky closed Nov 15 in Kawarthas
  5. why is it that I'm not even surprised? What a world
  6. stopped watching when it went to 3-0 and went to the computer!
  7. just a dusting here, but about a month ago we got 6 inches that lasted for a day or 2! Nobody else got anything but we had half a foot in a localized area.
  8. looks like a great time, thanks for taking the time to share it!
  9. in the immortal words of J.J...DY-NO-MITE!!! I hope to be on the water a little after 7 am, fish til 1 p.m. Denis do you have a store in Ft. Erie? Thanks for all the updates
  10. ...that made me laugh and cringe at the same time
  11. that's what I wanted to hear! I will be after musky. Was out 2 weeks ago in gin-clear water and managed one small one (35 inches?)Please excuse my ignorance but what is a red october bait?
  12. Have Friday off work and was hoping to get out on the Niagara for a couple of hours. I know it sure was windy here today, anyone have an update on the water clarity in the upper river? I know I asked this once before a year or two ago and someone was able to post an actual live satellite picture of the river. If anyone is able to do this tomorrow some time I'd be very grateful (I'd do it myself but not sure where they found live pictures of the river.)
  13. wow what a fish, congrats!
  14. I bought a 2007 Avalanche (not quite the same, but pretty close)this summer and have been very happy with it
  15. ...thats exactly the reason I wouldn't do it (as a casual fisherman)...don't want everyone on my spots! I suppose if you own a resort or marina etc you want as many people there as possible but as a fisherman you'd say the fewer people the better
  16. is that new ice you are fishing or the remnants of last winters ice?
  17. those are some nice looking fish, well done. If I liked the taste of fish I would be quite envious!
  18. I wish I could find someone with rates like that locally! I've considered getting a musky guide before on a big body of water (ie Georgian Bay) but you're looking at around $400 a day...so far I've just stuck to smaller lakes and figured it out myself (and sometimes with some tips from OFC'ers!)
  19. as I was raking leaves today the thought did cross my mind that it would be a nice day on the water. Congrats on a beauty fish!
  20. ...the ice sucks
  21. what the hell are you guys talking about?
  22. inexpensive housing due to past issues in the area. I have a few friends that live there who seem happy enough. i've got a hockey game there tonight, if I see anything out of the ordinary I'll let you know!
  23. Wow, I'm really sorry to hear this Wayne. Sounds like you're daughter is a fighter, all the best to you and your family
  24. man oh man you have some talent (and a pretty good camera I'm guessing)
  25. yipes...I thought the title was "Buck and 2R's in the dessert"...was afraid by opening this I'd find pictures of Garry wrestling some big buff guy named Buck in jello...like a car wreck, just had to look. Enjoy your time down south and stay out of the jello (or at least don't take pictures)
