  1. Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any idea of any shipping companies that I can ship my Harley out here with. Will be coming from Hamilton Ontario to Red Deer Alberta.
  2. Well Mike, good luck on the vehicle. I will be in Edmonton for the next 40 days anything I can do to help let me know! Also if you do make the trek out we should have a beer and a burger maybe. Still drinking the light stuff?!
  3. Hey Dave, the majority of us haven't reached that age yet! :-D
  4. I had a great idea, at one point. I used to mountain bike a lot. and get flat tires a lot too from thorns and sharp rocks. So I was always changing tires and using one of those stupid hand pumps. I had the idea to weld up the frame and put a valve on it so you could fill it with air. and when you needed to change a tire, just connect a hose from the frame to the tire and voila. Saw it some years later i think in toys are us! RATS!
  5. Ive never had much luck at bass pro for ice gear. maybe just me but the local tackle shops carry a lot better ice gear around here.
  6. LOL It really does look like the knife came straight from the butter plate.
  7. Sounds like she might be looking at AMSoil?
  8. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but his shirt is on backwards! Love the painting
  9. Thanks guys, I will have to make up my decision the day before
  10. Not worried about the fuel prices. Just worried about getting stuck.
  11. Hey guys, I know there is a wealth of knowledge here and I'm sure more than a handful of you have made this trek. January first I will be leaving, I'm driving a new honda civic so no 4x4, also driving by myself. Question is, would it be safer to drive through the states at this time of year or just stay on the trans canada Would like to make a stop in Thunder Bay to see my aunt and uncle and rest for the night. Where is my biggest concern for bad snowy roads? Northern Ontario? The Prairies? The Dakotas? Minnesota/Wisconsin?
  12. I payed 92 Cents per litre for diesel this morning, and I thought that was expensive!
  13. I buy from my local shop because when I break a rod, they replace it when I walk in the door.
  14. Hey guys, not sure what she started out as, but the motor is a 66 shovelhead. I love the S&S carbs. The reason for me picking this bike was well...just look at it! Number 2 reason is the price was more than right. Disco Phish, no need for the kicker. She has an electronic ignition now. Just gotta push the buttton. She's a combo between new and old! Thanks for all the comments guys.
  15. Ha, the first thing she said was "Are you nuts?" The second thing was "Well where am I going to sit?"
