  3. yes cliff,i laugh at those clips to,ive seen them lots of times and they are still funny... .bill dance has more bloopers than any other fishing show...hes very accident prone...lol..lol

IM sure that fishergirl67 and myself will be there saturday,early and get out before the crowds get crazy, usually by lunch time,i will have my OFC hat on so we can look out for eachother if you see us say hi for sure ,im not really looking to buy anything cause i still have several things to put on my boat in the spring,so maybe just pick up a few lures and small swivels and some real nice owner & mustad hooks for my cranks,and salmon spoons so we are looking forward to seeing some of you fellow OFC;ers.....see ya there
  5. yes lew you are right down around deseronto,napenee area there is lots of robins that winter there we see them all the time,its becuase that area has alot of a certain kind of berry that only becomes edible when they freeze,i have read about it as well and there is several other species of birds that are suposed to fly south yet stay in that area ..its the only area that these birds will be...kinda neat to see a robin when its -20 and snowing....very interesting
  6. no one owns the water,ive been through this before,there is certain laws like owning the high water mark and the low water mark,but as long as you do not put out an anchor or touch the shore,you can navigate in a canoe or boat,they cannot stop you,unless its not a harbor as stated in this thread,they cannot stop you from ice fishing or tubing ,i would have said call the cops, screw them....

  11. well lets see 2nd place 1993 gagnons lake ontario salmon derby 12.5 lb rainbow trout 1st place 1994 gagnons lake ontario salmon derby 13lb coho salmon 1st place 1995 bay of quinte winstanley pro fishing tournament 9.3lb walleye 2nd place 1995 pigeon lake winstanley pro fishing tournament 11.3lb musky 1st place 1995 winstanley pro fishing tournament 21lb northern pike 1st place1999 winstanley pro fishing tournament trent river 28.6lb musky 1st place 1999 winstanley pro fishing tounament 12.0lb walleye 3rd place 2006 week 2 great salmon hunt derby [the toronto sun] shared win 33.58lb chinook salmon 11th place 2006 ottawa river pike/walleye tournament well i am awefully proud of all my wins and places in those tounaments,and it came with alot of hard work,and time spent on the water,in some of those years i fished almost 5-6 days a week,and as you can see it paid of,as for winning anything else im never lucky,so i am very lucky to have been able to have all those wins,so it can happen and we have several tournaments to enter this year and hopefully i will have the same results, and i would like to say congrats to my fishergirl for winning a prize pack from the extreme angler contest with the huge chinook salmon that she caught while we were fishing in lake ontario she has done 1 tournament with me and i know with a little more fishing time under her belt there will be no stopping her from winning or placing in a tournament,and she wants to do even more fishing this year than last year so we cant wait till spring....cheers

  16. yes im with you guys on that one to,make them pay it all back,putguys like that on a chain gang and put them into forced labour ....that would teach them...just hearing that brian makes me steaming mad,ifn they kept going someone could have been killed or hurt,and they dont care,idi you get your jeep back or is it wrecked...

  20. for walleye you cant beat ,fireline and for bottom bouncing its powerpro...the list goes on and on just read all the above posts and that will let you know everyone has there own uses for those lines i love them ...and always wondered why i waited so long to start using those special lines cheers
  21. well thats very interesting gerritt ,like some of these guys say this technology has been around for a long time and the big oil companies keep putting up road blocks,unfortunaley OIL STILL RUNS THE WORLD AND WILL FOR ALONG TIME YET,LETS SEE AN ELECTRIC CAR PULL A 3,000LB BASS BOAT TO TIMMINS ,well you get my drift what about the expense,there is no cheap solution is there???
  22. like how big of jigs & spoons are we talking about?? what are you looking for that you cant find anywhere can you give us a little more info and maybe we can help, because there is some great lakes fishing sites with salmon spoons,and all that and if you say you cant find what you are looking for at bass pro,cabelas,and big places like that you may have to go to the manufacter,and most times they wont deal with someone who is not a dealer or who isnt gonna make a huge order,so give us some more detailes
