  1. Reliability. Be on time, don't cancel at the very last min. So far my dog has never let me down
  2. And like everything in a global market there will be a shift from China to the next low cost area. China was raising the labour costs while reducing quality to maintain operations. If Canada or USA could have done it cheaper and better it never would have left. You do find some companies bring stuff back so you never know.
  3. Feel VERY sorry for the independent lodge owners that offered great service for both USA and local visitors. After all this is done there will be a big push to get people traveling again. If you made plans just contact them about cancellation policy but I hope this will blow over by summer. I know its hard to convince locals (Canadians) to travel to lodges but some were able to do this just by great services and prices. There are a few lodges that only went after the (away guests). These ones are going to struggling this year to convince locals and others to come visit.
  4. That's basically what I was looking to do.. I have a 9.9 for trolling I found the big engine just too hard to control the speed
  5. Thanks Lew yes she is a great boat, a few more miles on her but still a solid ride. I had an e-mail out to Prince Craft already still awaiting a response.. Guess they are not in a rush to respond to questions about a boat purchased in 2009
  6. So basically my boat has currently. Merc 90 with a 13.25 and Pitch 17. She moved very fast but with just me and the dog in it 90% of the time speed is not the issue. Top speed is 37mph but hardly ever take it above 27mph unless perfect with no or little waves. The prop selectors don't even recommend the prop I currently have so its a little bit confusing. I would really like to be able to cruise planing at a lower speed than 16mph. Sure when there are no waves top speed all the way.
  7. Hi All: So after many hours of use I need to change my prop. Nothing bad with the old one just a few chips from floating debris. When choosing yes I could buy the same model, pitch, etc but I was thinking of going to a 4 blade. Reasons. Lower speed plane, quicker hole shot stability. I am less in the speed and more for stability. Just wondering if any one has changed to a 4 blade prop or has one. Your experience? Gone through a few prop selector sites but they don't even recommend the prop that came with my boat any suggestions how to select the right size. Thanks
  8. I must have passed you guys about 20 times. I would have been good fun to have you guys out on the Arm with us. My ride below hard to miss the snow ball going into town.
  9. x2 for the PVC .. completed mine a few years ago and no issues
  10. other than my own mishap.. that shall remain legendary. I watched a couple of very drunk boaters pull there very nice big speed boat up the ramp super fast get near the top of the ramp... then the fun begins. trailer pops off the ball... No safety chains.. Down the ramp this boat goes dragging all the way and into the water. with the momentum out it goes away from the dock well out of reach. OPP boat arrives to help.. We did not see the end results
  11. My ride. Bought it off a long time OFC "n" board member. She has a few miles on her now!
  12. Welcome back, now will we see a fishing picture or two 😋
  13. I just hope that with no Ice the water levels will drop a little this year..

  16. So, I can't remember where I saw it but CO's were giving fines for not having the Outdoor Cards. I can't remember if this was resolved yet. Early on people thought oh just carry the paper but then when stopped they did not have the card. From the https://www.ontario.ca/page/get-outdoors-card It stills states: you must carry your Outdoors Card when hunting or fishing, unless you have just recently purchased the card and not yet received it in the mail. In this case, you must have a copy of your License Summary available. An Outdoors Card is a plastic, wallet-sized identification card issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry that allows you to hunt or fish. You are required to carry this card with you at all times while hunting or fishing.
  17. LOL, I still remember you guys starting that up and the flames shooting out until you fixed the issue. Worked great for a few more seasons after that
  18. I have had that one for a few years. Plastic tub is paper thin, make sure to get runners. I use only one chair but it still has a good weight. Not sure if they fixed it yet but one thing that drove me nuts was the skirt on the tow side. It was not long enough to tuck away and with a tow bar you could not close it fully on the one side. Overall no issues.
