  1. Love the video.. Not to promote a brand but the Garmin auto mapping is out of this world. If your on the lake so much you could create your own.
  2. They say to always look for the fine print in anything you buy. https://www8.garmin.com/maps/onthewater/newchartguarantee/ Notice in the small print at the bottom only ¹Limit 1 free update per device or card. New Chart Guarantee valid within 12 months of purchase. I purchased the EchoMap Chirp in Early April read the instructions follow the updates.. Now less that 3 months on there is a new Map update please pay $77.00 .. No details that I can find on what is in the update. At least with other Navionics you could get 1st year free update and it would list whats in the update. Not worth the money to pay for an update just sort of ticks me off as a customer.
  3. basic ignorance .. Canada can't build refineries. Don't build it here not good for the environment.. Send oil (job's) to US refine it send it back to Canada .. oh that's better.
  4. Safe travels.. look forward to the report!!
  5. Pick me up on the way Marty. Road trip !!!
  6. They will just move it to china. With Ontario in such a noncompetitive environment moving here is tough. Once it leaves nothing is moving back. tariffs only hurts the end consumer. Governments get more money and industry just passes on the cost. If US has 20% tariff and Canada puts a 20% tariff this is a equal business environment. No winner
  7. wow nice!
  8. looking nice
  9. I do all my own Winterizing. 1. You can buy all the good oil. I changed over to synthetic, easier cold starts and nice for the trolling motor 2. You save a few buck's, no waiting and you get better the more you do it. 3. You get to know your engine. So when crap happens you know where to start If you can always start you engine once in the driveway. First of the year there are always the people trying to figure out why there engine won't start at the dock.
  10. Nice going! Sonar with a GPS really helps. Look for the depth you see the fish at then drop your ball in the zone.
  11. I would call the township and verify if that is a township rd. Yes roads can be private and named. If you own 100 hectares but want access mid-way you put a road in. If that being said is a public rd then speak to animal control and file a complaint. Then go fishing see the lady and dogs call the cops and give her the bill for the repair.
  12. When I read this, I guess it means that you can have a number of ways of showing your legal. One on the boat, One in the tackle box, and on the phone .. Finally.
  13. 15-20Lb for spinning reel. I like the thin stuff for light jigging. Little heavier for casting . Fluorocarbon for last 4+ feet. Salmon - Mono Dipsey - 50lb braid Power Pro and Sufix 832 are my Go To.. I wait till I see a good sale and purchase a spool and have one on hand.
  14. Wow nice work!!!
  15. Braid for small water, Mono for Salmon
  16. cool
  17. Costco has some really nice ones. 2x maui jims
  18. Guess they should do a story on "don't drive the 401 when it snows" Try driving in Brampton after a snow fall .. Safe is always a personal issue.. If you don't feel safe don't go. There will always be the people who push the risk too far, On a bad note "Trout and Whitefish Close March 15th "
  19. That sucks
  20. should have rigged it so the blinkers and headlights always are on. Still very cool
