Same here. My only exception is with a long time fishing buddy. 30+ years ago we started the one person drives then the other buys the coffee when we go fishing. Still doing it when we hook up.

13 years ago when I learned I was diabetic I switched from double/double coffee to black coffee. And I always went to Timmies. The first thing I noticed when I started drinking my coffee black was just how horrible Timmies coffee tasted. I stopped being a customer then. For my tastes McD's is the best of the bunch now and Country Style would be my 2nd choice. But 99% of the time I make my own at home. When I was drinking Timmies I was easily going there on average twice a day. Many bagels muffins and Tim bits too. Saved a lot of money since I broke that habit. Maybe others will go through the same money saving learning curve because of this closure. I hope they do because it all adds up.

Well I could see that coming, McD and the rest will probably follow. Still to much person to person interaction in those places. Some are going to loose their noodles over that, the army will shut down, lol. Break out the perk and thermos.

17", why not take a pic of that beast next to a tape measure like many do for trophy fish before released. I don't want to be pessimistic but that guy wasn't doing the elbow tuck. Regardless it is scary huge. edit: I did a unscientific experiment. Assuming the guy is of average height and his arms are pointed straight out from his body I measured the distance from my 2 index fingerswith my arms held out straight from my body which I measure it to be 12". The guys right index finger looks to be 1" from the fishes mouth so +1"=13". The mans left hand index or ring finger is under the fishes anal fin so I would add another 4" from the anal fin to the tail pinched together. Guess what? That massive Yellow Perch measures 17"!!!!! I take my naysaying back. It's a 17" grotesque Perch.

I got an courier delivery yesterday. I wiped down the box with a paper towel soaked with isopropyl alcohol before opening it. Then washed my hands again. I have a box of nitrile gloves and masks in the vehicle.

Another few weeks of lock down and he's gonna look good in the oven! My "group of 7" that go by the shop door every day might just become the "group of 6" soon...

Well I have been very fortunate to have had (and still do have) many wonderful fishing partners but the best one was my brother in law Herb. Herb was a lousy fisherman, not very good on the net, but he let me sleep with his sister 😁

Thanks for stating the facts. We don’t need to fish for a short term in congested places. If we overcome this we will enjoy the sport later and our wildlife will recover also. From what I have read/seen being locked up. They had fish in the canals of Venice and less air pollution in a lot of other places.

If it wasn't shut down guys would be inches from each other. Happens every year. Glad my county is stepping up. Only ones that are missing out are the birds. Several times fishing there I would look back and see a seagull with his face right in my minnow bucket.

I would’ve thought going for a walk in a CA or provincial park would be one of the safer activities you could do at the moment. Plenty of elbow room at this time of year. I was going to try and do a little fishing in a provincial park later this week. Guess not.

Probably the whole thing will be history by then anyway. I will practice common sense but not be lead by mass hysteria.
