  1. I think it’s the cost of the flux capacitor that makes them expensive

  4. I once had my middle finger of my right hand amputated at the top knuckle in a industrial accident. Comp awarded me 3 grand in a payout, I'm left handed. I wanted to buy a 14' tinny and a 9.9. Before I found the boat she spent it on drapes and vertical blinds. I went fishing a few months later and never came home. That was exactly 30 years ago and my finger still hurts.

  5. I don't know. They got 1 guy for weed, and 1 guy for open beer. Nobody got a DUI. I'd rather see them use their resources to bust thieves stealing boats, motors and ATVs, breaking into cottages and speeding down cottage roads where kids are playing.

  6. yup no excuse but i too saw a cabin cruiser flip 2 small boats because he was running full out making a 6ft wave in a narrow passage i could have ran to the big boat to try to get him to stop but i went over to the flipped boats to get the people out of the water

  10. If there isn't any visible OPP or CO's conducting safety checks someone would complain. Go down to some US states and if there isn't beer on a boat it's abnormal. I remember one gas station in Florida, if you got more than 30 bucks in gas and you got a can of beer free. Guys filling up at a pre pay and chugging a cold can of Bud. You don't see that everyday.

  11. Many of the U.S. owned cottages in Ontario are legacy cottages. Wealthy families escaping the heat and humidity of the mid and southern states. Rail lines provided them transportation to and from and no, they don't like to do things themselves, they don't at home, why would they here? Nothing wrong with it, they helped pay the way to better infrastructure and jobs locally, which helped to open the the north. Let's not forget the taxes they pay. Where we take our vacation, the vast majority of the cottages are American owned. They are almost always empty. Makes for a nice quiet stay for us. Sorry for the off topic response.... I think musky baits are just swell! Especially the furry ones! HH

  12. Frustrating that your remote died. Maybe they could have offered you a replacement at a discount price?? Personally, I don't consider it bad customer service to not offer full warranty privileges outside warranty periods. I consider it fantastic service when they do but it should not be expected.

  13. WOW! That is fantastic! But coming from such good fishing genes, it was inevitable that this would happen!

  16. You can get spotlock on a bow mount relatively cheap now. Definitely way way under $2000 for a basic set up. Also, lol at the continued comments about “who cares, I fish out of a tinner and still catch fish” automobiles still went from point A to B back in 1920 as well. You must drive a model T Ford too then. Or if we’re talking current era you must drive a base model Kia 2 door. this new tech is all wayyy to rich for me, but maybe 15 years from now it will look good on the front of my boat. Exciting stuff, love when game changing tech arrives on the market, gives you a glimpse into the future.

  20. Having been in one of those 16 foot tinnies while a cruiser drives by, it doesn't take much to swamp them. I would assume that is what happened and it just set the guy off. Definitely should have been charged but it would have been great to hear his side of the story.
