  3. There is a place in Scarborough that I’ve seen advertise online. He is called certerpin angling. Could try there. I believe I saw eggs on his website. If you just want chinook or coho, I’ll give you some, but you’ll have to pick up. I can meet you down in Guelph, but that’s as far south as I go.

  4. We call this a "mixed grill". When we can't decide what we want, we mix it up! Jerk chicken wings, mussels in olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, onions and one head of garlic, crushed. Brats as well. HH

  6. Boy I really appreciate all the replies and incite, you guys have really helped me narrow it down, thank you! Based on your replies I put together a pros/cons list and it looks like I am going to go with the propane. ?

  8. I have 3 on my boat and use them all the time, i take people out and post their catches. Also i have friends around the world that i fished with at one time and it's a way to still fish with them. I do look back on the catches . I could care less what others think about my channel.

  9. We all predicted that the Lightning and Pens would go out in 4 straight didn't we?

  10. Do you guys think constantly regurgitating and spewing out this same line, over and over, and over and over again, almost verbatim, has any affect on Leafs fans? If it makes you feel better about yourself, go nuts, your breath is wasted though. Somebody mentioned crickets on this thread once the Leafs are out of the playoffs. That's dumb, and incorrect, just a hate inspired troll post. This guy above /\ only crawls out of his hole and posts here around playoff time to troll and spew hatred. The rest of the year, his miserable, seething hatred isn't strong enough to inspire him to troll. Come playoff time, it manifests itself and he trolls with everything he's got.

  11. I'm in fall the to March break crowd . But I can't be trusted here it is April 16 and trout sticks still in truck. Fly's always half a dewy no weight and of course bags. Again I can't be trusted anything for a bite.

  12. Myself as well, the early months,if the river is open and the fall is the best. The fall fights are next to none IMO. Opener for me, is small rivers and streams fly fishing residents .

  13. im not claiming the leafs are winning the cup (they win this series? anything can happen), glad to see Moxie is already looking forward to round two. For real though, you guys called me an idiot and told me that I didnt know anything because I said the leafs could beat the Bruins. You didnt provide any insight as to why, except for that they lost to Ottawa at the end of the year. Oh and that they dont have the capacity to play hard playoff hockey. I believe "Steamroll" was the term used. I gave a strong set of reasons why the leafs would have success and you guys called me stupid. Question, are you going to own up to it if the leafs beat Boston?

  14. Cleaning a flat top is a piece of cake. Just get a product called Weiman Glass top cleaner, you can get it at Home Hardware. Pour it on, wipe with paper towel to clean, then wipe off with another paper towel. Similar to waxing a car. Do it every couple of weeks or after you've had a big spill over and it'll stay like new. And they don't scratch easy at all. A hell of a lot easier than cleaning an element stove where you have to take all parts off and soak them, pain in the ass.

  16. I'll also agree with Gerritt We had a natural gas stove in Toronto for 42 years and have been using propane here for the last 9 years and I would never go back to an electric stove. Instant heat, fast cool down and much easier to regulate when cooking. Of course this is just all stuff my wife tells me LOL

  17. Hardware is a great spring alternative as well. Like porkpie, I'm more of a fan of the fall fish instead of dropbacks. However, the weather in the spring is usually a lot nicer

  18. Been using a bobber and roe for 30 years. Probably won’t quit now. I’ve bottom bounced plenty as well but only when they are float shy or when fishing big water. I use beads sometimes also now, and I never use less than 6lb test leader. That’s a big change considering 3lb was something we used all the time. I don’t go for opener very often now though. I usually fish the fall or early season more than the opener for spawned out fish.

  19. Game 2 was like a case study in how to lose control of a game for officials. I fully expected them to reign it in last night. If they call the minor stuff, I think it favors the leafs.

  21. I see nothing but a fight coming. The opinions on one side of the border VS the ones on the other side are both filled with misinformation so this topic is a no go. Art
