Lol….you can have the best ‘depthfinder’ in the world and still suck at fishing.

From my experience, you really don't even need  a "fish/depth finder" on Kesagami. Average depth is 6 to 8 ft, deepest spot was about 20 ft. It's so choked with weed beds (cabbage) that FFS would be pretty well useless. Even though it's far up north, its definitely not a cold rocky Shield Lake...it's muddy and soft bottomed similiar to Rice Lake. But that shallow stained weedy water is what makes it a fish factory.

I guess they haven’t got a fish finder that works in weeds yet.  
the resort should have a lot of fishing spots figured out by now.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Sell my ties on the side . I have a few finders laying around. Wonder if I would need them all .
