need some stress relief.closest safe ice from gta?

Havent been out fishing since the last salmon caught in late September. Been really stressed out which is why I havent fished either.  Need to get back into the groove.  Looking for some safe ice close to gta.  have a hut, auger and everything else required.  Just need safe ice and hopefully some fish! 🤣

Looking somewhere with easy access on to the ice.

Any ice that did form in the Kawarthas melted this week with 6* weather and rain. Theres no ice anywhere near me, and I'm surrounded by lakes. 

Lots of open water right now. Its only November. You could probably shore fish for pan fish (just remember lots of rivers are sanctuaries in November.)

Thanks for the replies.  Plan was to get out in the second week of December. Hopefully we get some cold weather and some solid ice somewhere close!

A friend of mine from Temagami sent some pictures of him out on the ice on a back lake in the area about a week ago.

About 4" of ice then before the warmer spell.
