A buddy of mine in Mississauga has had a group of about 10 of these strange looking birds hanging around his front lawn for a couple of days. dave524 Posted September 4, 2015 Report Share Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Chukar...Saw my first one , picking gravel in the parking lot at work at least 10 years ago along the south service road in Stoney Creek. Seem to be locally common now, where there is pay to hunt game farms as previously mentioned. Haven't seen the similar Hungarian Partridge in many more years, was a few around Smithville when I was young.
