chris.brock Posted April 22, 2013 Report Share Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) The rain caused a sink hole in my driveway which I promptly got stuck in, right up to the axle. The shovel was futile. I had to get a neighbor to pop me out. A deer browsing on some of the new growth, taken right off my front deck. I felt bad for the people of Minden, especially with idiots like me taking pics. I would have volunteered to help but there was nothing to do. I didn't see it, but the hydro dam up river, holding back Minden Lk, was getting over-run with water coming over and around it. There was some worry it might let go. the beer store, still open, but with water in the back I put a marker stick in the sand on Gull Lk. I found out today I'll be walking and doing some climbing up and down a 30 foot long washout to get into the cottage this weekend.
