fishindevil Posted December 7, 2012 Report Share Posted December 7, 2012 My gf brother lives in north Haliburton around the Dorset area and lots if the smaller lakes are froze but only a inch or 2 on them but guys are usually fishing the smaller all year open lakes by Xmas every year !!!! jedimaster Posted December 19, 2012 Report Share Posted December 19, 2012 Yup - my first trip onto Scugog last year was December 26. I had 2.5" until I got near the middle of the lake. Once I got onto 2" I turned back.
