Cudz Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 if i had to compare, i'd say bald eagle. I beg to differ. I think they taste exactly like bottle nose dolphin.

Raf Posted July 28, 2008 Author Report Posted July 28, 2008 Why kill them? That's just ignorant. He is 2 for 2!
Greencoachdog Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Very cool pics Raf! A snake has to be one tough bugger to live in the GWN!... and killing one out in the wild is ignorant. They're the best friend you never knew you had. Too bad they don't eat skeeters!!!

mistyriver1 Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Cool shot Raf !!! That must have woke you up
bbog Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 A French River Rattler perhaps? You don't have to go that far to see them. Lots around just to shy to be seen by most.
Joey Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Very cool pic Raf. I've never seen one up close and personal, and I'd like to keep it that way. Nothing against snakes, I love them, but rattlers don't appeal to me Joey
keram Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 (edited) This snake is on protected species list. Killing it can be costly. From Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act: Penalty 102. (1) A person convicted of an offence under this Act is liable to a fine of not more than $25,000, to imprisonment for a term of not more than one year, or to both. Edited July 28, 2008 by keram
Reef Runner Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 A rare sighting Raf, thanks for sharing it with us. In my years of stompping around the Massassauga PP, Moon River, etc. only ever encountered one suninn itself on a rock. Very cool.
