  1. If you have lots of batteries you can just leave it on and it will trace the path you have taken.
  2. I commend Dutch for calling out racism when he sees it. No need to overturn rocks, either. It hits you in the face like a bad smell all too often.
  3. Still hasn't run out of gas!! https://www.thestar.com/news/insight/2018/04/06/hockey-night-in-canadas-original-tv-pitchman-turns-100.html
  4. I have a Garmin Map78. It's good once you learn how to use it, but that takes a while. Not exactly 'intuitive'!
  5. My buddy has got a 16 footer but it's a deep hull---so he should be OK out there!!
  6. Ont has always lagged behind the other provs in this area. Brewers retail prob had a big influence.
  7. I poked my head outside this morning long enough to hear a robin cough!!
  8. Get any Cold Duck or Baby Duck "wine"???
  9. Our local Loblaws had a much better selection than LCBO across the street when it was first allowed to sell. Now the variety is reduced quite a bit, presumably based on sales, but they are still about equal to LCBO. OI--They still put the booze in paper bags though so nobody knows what you got in there!!
  10. Ha---i thought you were kidding when you said you would do it again!! I don't doubt what you said is true and your video shows it. Maybe my drill is 'funky' as you say. I was using a Swedebore whereas you were using a Finbore. That could make quite a diff too, IMO.
  11. Hmmm---Now I'm puzzled. I have a 759 already and it's only rated at 380UWO. I tried using it on my 6" Mora and it just stalled---clutch slipping, I guess. That clicking sound. Brian---I am quite surprised you cold get an auger to cut with that. I'm curious, though, why you upgraded to a M. Fuel.
  12. I assume you are kidding about that! I wish it was true, though.
  13. Are Rapala glasses any good? I found a pair at Walmart that fits over my glasses. My selection is limited by the fact that I wear glasses.
  14. Thx, Brian. I'm balking at the price of a Mil Fuel because I don't need it for anything other than ice fishing. No doubt it's more sturdy than that Dewalt, though. I have heard others talk about smoking drills as well. I thought they would just stall out before smoking. That's what my older DeWalt did when I tried it on my 6" Swedebore anyway.
  15. Do you folks think this drill would be sturdy enough for an ice auger? This one, the DCD991P2 is brushless and is rated at 820 ----the same UWO rating as the 996. It's called a 'compact drill' though: that's why I am wondering how sturdy it is. Does anyone really know what 'hammer drill' really means in terms of being robust? http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/dewalt-20v-max-li-ion-compact-brushless-cordless-drill-1-2-in-0547288p.0547288.html?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=display&utm_campaign=dpa&utm_term=productviewers&utm_content=genmerch_image_productviewer_3days
  16. Should have nailed his scrotum to a stump and flipped him over backwards!!!
  17. Some fish out of C'wood and Thornbury during the summer. I'm not sure how successfully though---worth a shot, I'd say.
  18. And the insane should not have guns to start with!!
  19. I don't see any connection between being a fisherman and having any particular viewpoint on gun control in Canada or lack thereof in the US. There is no hunting section on this forum.
  20. My friend said he was going to buy a new reel. His wife asked "How much do you think you will get for your old one?"
  21. You are making too much sense for this discussion to continue!!
  22. I'll put a "Reserved" sign on your spot on the river!
  23. Exactly! Can't figure out loc from pic if you don't know where it was. But those who know the spot will be more keen to go now. Presumably that does not include a herd of lurkers.
