  1. Thanks and funny you mention that Roy... Thursday next week, I have to drive my daughter to Kearney for a week of camp. That'll put me only a few minutes from Powasson and driving right by TJ's as well! Timing won't be right for dropping in on Bernie though...by the time I go by, he'll already be sitting at the cottage enjoying the view! HH
  2. Well folks, I hope you all have a great week! My family and I are heading up to the French River tomorrow for a week of fun and fishing! My family first started to go to this place (Moonlight Bay Cottages) in the early 70's. Cut my teeth fishing there and have been back numerous times since then. I figured that it would be a great place for my kids to learn a few things, like dock fishing and what not. Anyway, I will be posting some pics when we get back, likely of the panfish type, but one never know for sure, do they. Have a great week folks and see yah when we get back! HH
  3. Jack can take Gerritt's spot at Quinte this fall, he's a better netman! That said, he's tougher than me when it comes to leeches!!!! Great video, thanks for posting! HH
  4. I hope you don't mind, but I named the spider "Ziggy". Must be from Mars. HH
  5. Think the prices might go up at the ACC? They keep this up and the average guy might not be able to afford tickets to a Leaf game! HH
  6. True enough... and it's nice to see that the Habs have kept to their height restrictions on their forward lines! LOL HH
  7. Garbo didn't miss any games that I know of from concussion, yet. Not questioning his work ethic as much as I am questioning his skill level and potentially his intelligence. His concussion issues will become apparent in a few years. How many times last year did we see the camera show Garbo's eyes looking like fry pans on the bench? I also have a suspect that (and I have no evidence to support this) he may have been a poor influence on some of the teamates. Again, just a feeling I have! HH
  8. Garbo is a walking example a concusion. Does anyone really think that he could continue to take/absorb the kind of punishment he was taking and continue to be an effective player? How many nights did we all sit around the TV watching him getting slammed? Would you invest $20 mill in a player who many times, didn't know his own name at the end of the game? IMHO, getting rid of Garbo was a shrewd move. HH
  9. How about opening up a couple of bales of hay, up stream, the night before opening day... floats and hay, what an entertaining combination! HH
  10. Nice and clear Brian, very cool! I noticed that you were able to get footage of "The World's Greatest Sport Fish"... consider yourself fortunate. HH
  11. The Habs need to go out and draft some spines! You know, the kind that are attached to the back of the player so they don't lie down when the going gets tough... never mind, they don't know how to do that! HH
  12. Can we train them to chase Cormorants Rich! HH
  13. I wonder how long this dispute will take to fizz out? Alternatively, why not stand outside the plant and toss Mentos at the plant! HH
  14. Chicken liver... and left overs make a fine feast in the morning with some eggs and Frank's hot sauce! HH
  15. I have a self propelled Honda mower I inherited from my Dad. It's gotta be 15 years old and it starts on the first pull, every time. I am running gas I bought for it in 2011 through it, with no stabilizer. I have left it half full over the winter, it's never seen Seafoam and I have not changed the plug, oil filter or oil in the six years I've had it! Dang, I guess I can't really bring anything to this discussion except... You guys are babying your stuff too much! LOL HH
  16. Sweet ride Terry, congrats! I hope it gives you years of satisfaction... with that said, you've had it almost a week, what have you broke on it? LOL HH
  17. If it's that slippery, you might not even have to get you wheel hubs wet when launching! LOL Look like a sweet mod! HH
  18. Really enjoyed that report, thanks so much for taking the time... Bill needs to smile more! HH
  19. Brown Eyed Girl and Learn to Fly are probably the only two songs that we both know all of the way through Cliff! Alternatively, we could do a "Rush Melody" of their bigger hits, but not the whole song as neither of us can remember them all the way through! Imagine more than words for an hour and a half! Sounds like fun!!! HH
  20. Thanks for the recommendation Cliff! Unfortunately Road Gravy will be on hiatus until October with some bad summer holiday planning having each of us off somewhere, until October! HH
  21. You do sound like a school girl! I had to take a second look to make sure that the youtube link wasn't a NKOTB sighting! HH
  22. Congrats to you! I can see this partnership benefiting both parties... Italo gets a fisheman who is much more in tune with the average fisherman, who could also, likely add some "life" to his show. You get access to Italo's vast resources within the industry. A win win as far as I can tell. But I just can't wait until I hear Italo say "look at the colours Aaron"! Good fortune to the both of you! HH
  23. Thought last nights show was pretty lame, until he let the lamprey attach itself to his neck. It was at that point that I began to question the guy's sanity. And who knew that Lamprey could trun out to be the other other other other other other white meat!? HH
  24. You know, if you had a fishing show with just video like the above, I would watch it! Thanks for posting this... and Jack's tackel box is way cool! HH
  25. Was that a console or a tiller? HH
