I wonder if he would let me post job descriptions for the jobs I currently have no candidates for? HH

Thanks to FnS for posting these, I really appreciate it Will! Cliff, I really like them too! But The Warden has changed the "motif" of the room and has decided that a brushed chrome look goes better with the new light fixture I installed as well as the other bathroom stuff like paper holder, towel holder etc... Cliff, even if I cut the cylinders, the plate pictured above them in the underneath shot will continue to hold the taps in place! I just may start to look around the house for my 5lb sledge! LOL HH
-
Wow, thanks for all the responses guys! I do have the same wrench Cliff, thanks, but the taps are not secured by couplings around the cylinders, the first place I looked! LundGuy, I really appreciate you taking the time to write all that out! I will probably do as suggested and remove the whole sink, once I learn how to approach these taps! Should have some pics up soon... and also very hearty thanks to all who PM'd me! Stay tuned! HH PS... Cory, that was funny!

The Blonde Handywoman A blonde, wanting to earn some extra money decided to hire herself out as a 'Handywoman' and started canvassing the neighborhoods. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do. 'Well, I guess I could use somebody to paint my porch,' he said. 'How much will you charge me?' The blonde quickly responded, 'How about $50?' The man agreed and told her that the paint and everything she would need was in the garage. The man's wife, hearing the conversation, said to her husband, 'Does she realize that our porch goes all the way around the house?' He responded, 'That's a bit cynical, isn't it?' The wife replied, 'You're right. I guess I'm starting to believe all those dumb blonde jokes .' A short time later, the blonde handywoman came to the door to collect her money. 'You finished already?' the husband asked. 'Yes,' the blonde replied, 'and I had paint leftover, so I gave it two coats - no extra charge.' Impressed, the man reached into his pocket for the $50 and handed it to her. 'And by the way,' the blonde added ... 'it's not a Porch -- it's a Lexus' HH

I agree it would be easier, but as I am not changing the drain system, just the taps, I'm hesitant to remove the whole sink. I do have access to the under side of the sink, there is just nothing there to un-screw! I beleive you are all correct in that it must be untethered from the top, but I can't get anything apart from the top, to find the screw head! Thanks for all your help and if possible, keep 'em comin! HH

Thanks all! Will, if you can and you want to, please feel free to drop by! Heck, there might be a dinner in it for yah! I have a crow bar , a sledge and a sawsall and am fully qualified with all! Yes it is a pedestal sink. I've tried turning the casings around the cartriges, but they don't seem to move very much and my concern being my frustration may end up getting the better of me and I will be buying a new sink and pedestal! Thanks, HH

Yah Cliff, I looked everywhere in the silly thing and can't find any allen wrench screw... I'll take a pic tonight and post it, if I can! LOL HH

Hi guys and sorry for the NF post/question! We have just completed a re-decorating of one of our bath rooms. The Warden bought new taps for the sink, however I am very confused as to how to remove the existing taps. I have no concerns about replacing them, I have some abilities, however, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the old taps off! They are three separate entities, meaning the hot, cold and tap itself are not one piece, but separate from each other. I looked under the sink and found that there is a screw that appears to be holding the taps in place from above, but I can't figure out how to get to the screw head, from the top. I can remove part of the tap handle, but I don't see anything inside the handle or on the taps, such as a allen head or such! I'm afraid if I give it too much persuasion I just might break the sink! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, HH

What the heck is all that green stuff all over the ground????? Nice pics! HH

I rarely drink anything, but when I drink beer, I buy Steam Whistle and or Grolsh. If I'm just wanting to have some beer around the house, I'll buy Bud simply because it is not filling and doesn't do the nasty things to my system that most beer usually does! Mmmmm SteamWhistle! HH

Yup, for about 15 years!LOL HH

Just had our dining room painted last week. Our neighbour is a pro painter by trade and suggested a new line of Ben Moore paints that have just come out. Sorry, don't know the name, but this paint is remarkable in that it will not grow "crumby" with time, regardless of the colour you use. It is also very forgiving for those who's skill level are not up to pro level... speaking of leveling, it is self leveling. What really convinced us was the colour pallet available... like most manufacturers, they provide a number of colours, but what makes this stuff "unique" is that you can say, pick any three colours the paint is available in, and they will match each other! We tried playing this game at home, each on of us picking a colour, like from a deck of cards and every combination of three that were picked worked together. It also have a very tough finish when dry... which only takes less than an hour! HH

Actually Wayne, I've gotten out twice in the last 4 weeks! I must be doing something right, good behavior and the Warden lets me out... truth be told, I just start gettin really cranky around the house and the Warden writes out the day pass. The piece and quiet is obviously worth it to her! HH

Ok... here's my take on Brian... firstly, he has not been the same player since Chara tossed him around like a rag doll! I think his spine was removed in said event! ALso, he seems to be completely lost in the new era of the NHL, as he cannot seem to stop himself from clutchin, holding etc.. his can opener is useless as it just plants his butt in the penalty box and if you watch him in his own end, he just skates around pointing at the opposition, but not actually doing anything about them. He has passed his time of usefullness and would better serve the Leafs if he would accept a trade to any team willing to give up a bag of pucks for him! Again, just my humble opinion! HH

Great video there! Thanks for posting... funny story about the Offspring, which I did very much enjoy... my wife and I attended the Offspring show at the ACC a few years back... well, obviously I was the oldest dude there, gry hair etc... and when we sat down in our seats, everyone got up and moved! I think they thought I was a Narc because they kept lookin at us to make sure we were not approaching them as they lit their "smokables"! My wife and I still laugh about that to this day! HH

There are only two things more disgusting than having a Sheep Head aka "water goat" on your line... having one in your boat and passing one rotting on the surface of the water as your trolling by HH

I wonder if they are making him into "Soylent Green" ! It's people! It's people! LOL! http://www.soylent-green.com/ HH

Arranged with FishnSled and my buddy Tom to get out and get one more kick at the ice cat, for the elusive Perch on Cooks Bay. We arrived in Keswick and were on the ice by 7:00am. Conditions were fantastic for walking as the temp had dropped over night to below freezing, making the ice surface really easy to walk. Upon drilling the first hole, we found there to be at least 20 inches of solid ice, with the top four or five inches being crusty. A little side note as to our approach to Perchin: We feel that we are best served moving quickly and not trying to finesse a non productive hole. Tom drilled out 18 holes for every position we stopped at. We would quickly fish each hole, if no one was home, next hole please. We made 5 stops, with very limited results and were beginning to think we were not going to be in for a good day. After some discussion, we decided to head out toward the "Fingers" to give'em a try... well, the three mile hike out there was pleasant enough, easy walkin and in what seemed like no time, we were there. Tom proceeded to drill out about 90 holes and we would simply go from hole to hole, lookin for active fish. We ended up staying there for the rest of our day, with schools moving in and out all day long. As the day began to heat up, temperature wise, we could hear the melting ice below us, trickling down the cracks... and the surface crust began to turn to slush! The fish were cooperating as well, with again, similar to our last outting, 2 weeks ago, plenty and I do mean plenty of small 5-6 inchers. At around 3:00pm, we decided to head back as we were getting worried about the slush slowing us down and becoming down right tedious to walk the three miles back to the truck. We took our time, stopped at some of the holes we drilled on our way out and took about an hour to get back. Totals for the day were as follows; Tom 106 perch - mostly small or very small as he was working a Pimple with a dropper rig and was able to hook the small ones very easily. Headhunter, aka Joe - 84 with biggest fish again this week! FishnSled - 48 perch! Much better then the previous week and gettin better all the time... actually, if FnS had of just moved a little more, he's have done better as well. I have some pics that I'll ask FnS to post later. My opinion: Given that the temps on Saturday night did not drop before zero, I can't imagine that the conditions are very good right now! Getting on the ice was fine and so was getting off, but with the temps being what they are, I'd be concerned and very cautious before considering venturing out. Slush and weak spots would hold me back! Won't be long now before we can start chasin them outta a boat! Hope you enjoyed! HH

How dare you go fishing without your waders CC! Do you not have any concern for the well being those fish! LOL You should check your "everything I need to bring to insure that no one on the board get upset list" before you go out the door! Such short sightedness! Keep the reports a comin! HH
-
I'm starting to get that feeling again! A guy posts some pics of some fish he caught and once again folks take it in a completely WRONG direction. Thanks for the report and please, don't let the little people stop you from posting in the future. HH

LOL Wayne! I knew I should have taken that Bomber away from him two years ago! HH
-
I'd ask Terry! LOL! Well, unfortunately, I've caught them on just about everything when trolling... from my expereince, if you really really want to catch a big one, I'd put on any crank bait you like, trolling and in my mind picture a 32 inch Pickereye attaching it... that should pretty much guarantee you hooking a big old "Water Goat"! Someone lookin to make some soup?! HH

"Yikes, so it could create a little bit of bother then if two play well and one is poop? (after a few pop's of course)..." That sounds like to "the Police" to me! LOL HH

I "played" Rock Band for most of the early 80's Joey! Quit when I realized that I liked to eat and playing dumps in Northern Ontario was not going to provide me with the 3 squares I found I'd become accustomed to! HH

Personally, I prefer to visit places that have a "British" influence in the past. No more "banana republics" for this guy. I find that the British influence has raised the bar on that society and creates a far more enjoyable atmosphere for my vacation dollars. Also, you tend to get better food and drink and you won't have to learn a new language, unless of course you decide you want to go to Jammin Man! Can't reccommend Barbado's enough! HH
