When my son was born we named him Sam. When my daughter was born, we seriously considered naming her "Ella" so I could then introduce my kids to people as.... yes you guessed it... "Sam 'n Ella"! LOL In my business, I am confronted with many funny and strange names. Here's a few: -Goopertop - I always wondered if his top was goopy, what would his bottom be like! Ouch! -Norm Mole = Normal! Thanks everyone for your insights and opinions on this vehicle. I've been sitting on the fence on this for some time. Actually, I still have time to make my mind up, but I'm leaning toward keeping the Jimmy and getting the little things fixed on it. I think it's more a "devil you know" kind of thing. My thinking is that the Jimmy will be a better tow vehicle, has more storage space and for around a grand, I can get it back up to full maintenance. It already have the electric brake towing kit on it as well as a Tranny cooler. The body is clean of rust and it just makes sense to me anyway, to drop the grand rather than 14 times that for a smaller vehicle that uses as much or more fuel. Thanks again everyone for helping me with this decision... your input has been in-valuable! HH

I fished the Danube when I was 4 years old.... way back in the 60's! My Dad was from a small town right on the Danube and we visited there back then. I remember catching house flies as bait and that evening, everyone, but my brother, Mom and I were hard at it eating fish soup. A little too spicey for us at that age! I also recall my Mom taking pictures of us playing in the river, only to have the Police confiscate her camera as they thought she was taking pics of their patrol boat. I'm sure much has changed since then. Obviously the communist regime has fallen and a "free" market has taken over. Thanks for the pics and the memories! HH

Good advice FnA! Changing your locks will definately make you feel more secure. Alternatively, you could book a few days off work and sit in your front hallway with Mr. Louisville a wait for them to show up! Might help take your mind off the GPS! HH

My wife exhibited many of the symptoms after our son was born... nothing that 4 days in Bahama's didn't cure! Something about those purple drinks they made at the pool bar that broke her out of it! Time, patience the odd cuddle and you should be ok! HH

Uh... yah... and getting in your car and driving on the 401 hasn't had any ill affect on any in the past either! Or standing at Victoria Park Station on the TTC at mid-night has all the assurances that anyone needs , for their own safety! Life is full of risks, unless you live in a plastic bubble. My 96 Jimmy is gettin a little long in the tooth. It only has 150km on it, but age is starting to add up on the old wallet. With my Dad's passing last fall, I have an opportunity to become the owner of a 2005 Ford Escape, with 30K on it. I'm considering picking this vehicle up, but have some concerns about towing ability, fuel costs and general maintenance of this SUV. I have driven it a couple of times, noticed myself that it is a pretty hungry motor, but was wondering if it might be a good tow vehicle for my boat, which I am planning to buy in the near future. Your thoughts on the vehicle are muchly appreciated! HH

I have been driving my vehicle onto the ice for many years, with, knock on wood, no problems. When I was out there two weekends past, there must have been at least 200 other vehicles out there as well. There are no sure fire safe ice conditions, but there are no sure fire safe anything any more. so you hit a bad spot, bad luck to you. You got 'er out, your safe and sound, chalk it up to experience, but don't give up the sport! Lookin at Perchin on Friday and planning at this time, to drive out to my spot. Changing conditions will determin my final plans, but come on folks, it's a highway out there and on guy got unlucky/ really lucky! I wonder how some of you guys ever make it out of the house?! HH

A good friend of moine works at the post office and he brings home the CTC flyer on the Monday of every week... 4 days before the sales hit and a good 3 -4 days before they arrive in your mail box. Pretty much up on CTC sales every week! HH
