This is concerning if true. I thought a 10 gauge would be just under the 20mm limit; but I am no expert. https://www.csaaa.org/blair-bans-12-gauge-10-gauge-shotguns-and-hunting-rifles/

So how are we going to launch or boats?

I have one that I have used a few times. They work as long as you keep them watered. -
I am not sure. It would be more logical to make them illegal; but the government is not always logical.

There are some bolt action rifles included in the ban. But most or the banned firearms are semi-automatics that accept magazines. But not all semi-automatics with magazines have been banned. For the most part, the ones that look like military firearms are banned; one that look like a traditional hunting rifle are still legal. Magazines were already limited to five rounds, so they cannot legally fire a lot of rounds per minute. They can just fire five rounds very quickly before you have to reload. Although, if you were able to get an illegal large capacity magazine, you could fire a lot of rounds per minute.

Now we have killer Hornets,,,,,,
John Bacon replied to misfish's topic in Non-Outdoors Open Discussion
Killer bees haven't really faded away. They just never made it this far north. They do have them in the southern states. They're not has bad as the media portrayed them back in the 70s; but they do kill people each year. -
But if you ever tip or get swamped, you may want the foam...

Are these two actual firearms? Or, websites? (z.085) AR15.Com ARFCOM; (z.086) AR15.Com AR15.Com;

Great Britian is an island that emcompasses England, Scotland, and Wales. United Kingdom is the nation that includes Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, & Wales. If Scotland had voted to separate, they would no longer be part of the United Kingdon, but they would still be located on Great Britian Island. -

Going by this, it looks more like Stage 2 to me. But hopefully it will be in Stage 1. Phase 2: Restart Ontario will take a three-stage approach to loosening emergency measures and reopening the economy: Stage 1: Open select workplaces under modified operations (ex. curb-side pickup and deliveries), allow some small gatherings like funerals Stage 2: Open more workplaces (may include some service industries, office and retail businesses), outdoor spaces, and allow some larger gatherings Stage 3: Further relax the restrictions of public gatherings (large public gatherings like concerts and sporting events still be restricted), opening all workplaces responsibly -
I think it was a BMW vehicle that they recommend going to the dealer to open the hood. It's a two person job, and there is a You-Tube video on how to do it. There is a small port on the side so that you can boost the car without popping the hood.

Theoretically yes, but you may need another 50 or 60 thousand trucks to handle their minimum order 😉 Now if happened to have a storage tank that can hold a full tanker ship full of oil located near a large port, this would have been a great opportunity.

Johnny Bass? I didn't find him that bad. I think Ken Daley, aka what's his name, was the worst "poo disturber". He would definitely fit the "piece of work" description. Edit. I guess the moderators agree, they even banned his handle 😄

Really? I thought this was him. https://www.facebook.com/johnny.bass.1000

That could be misleading. Covid patients have specfic needs such as an ICU & respirator. Even if half there are a lot of empty beds, they may still be near capacity for the specific needs of Covid patients.

I don't think it's either feasible nor reasonable to open launches for just fisherman.

No amount of expertise is better than an actual on water test. If I was thinking of buying a prop, I would seek advise. If I already had the other prop I would just try it out and get actual results.
-
It's not that hard to switch props. Why not just switch it out and see how each one performs and then go with the one that you prefer.

Browns in Lake O Anyone fishing yet?
John Bacon replied to Old Ironmaker's topic in General Discussion
Thanks, I am sure the fishing is good; but that's a little further than I am prepared to travel for early season solo fishing. -

Thanks, I will check back in mid-April then. I was hoping to use Ashbridges; but I assume that it is closed. -
In these hard times what about the Fishing lodge operators?
John Bacon replied to scuro2's topic in General Discussion
Canada too. I read that one of the Atlantic provinces as delayed sport fishing this year. It hasn't been closed in Ontario yet; but some of the launches have been closed. -

I think a lot of the boat launches are closed. The driveway is gated at Whitby. I understand that the bluffers launches are closed. I'd like to get out, but that may not be feasible. -

It's a remote area in the bush. I can't think of a reason for it not to there.

How many of you have been using these?
