  1. If there is a lot of coarse sand surrounding the river then the fish actually get sandblasted and turn out dull in color. I've seen this on the Athabasca river
  2. ...and a gas refinery spills thousands of litres of fuel over 30years into bronte and it's shores and they are allowed to carry-on, business as usual. This thread definitly shows the mis-treatment of Fisherman.
  3. Anybody else think he should have used a red canoe?
  4. you were clearly jigging for muskys. Nice dinner you got there. Simon, you have one beautiful back yard!
  5. Edmonton also has a tougher time attracting players.... I hope the northern climate doesn't scare away too many good players from Winnipeg. The Jets management will decide the fate of this team in the end. A properly run team will do well. As long as they don't trade Teemu Selanne again haha. GRRRR to John Paddock the GM back in those days.
  6. x2 on the cood climate, +10 to +25 are my ideal operating temperatures in the summer. +30 is just as bad as -30 imo. Near the beach, the view is getting better though..., well in some cases,
  7. ..then take photos, post on OFC and make everyone hungry. ..nice! I love bison meat!
  8. x2- and like Wayne said, definitly NOT plowed...found out the hard way in March and had to reverse for 2kms. Great report man, next time, give me a heads up... I'm crazy like you.
  9. Sounds like a great time! You aren't the only ones who had a tough opener on Nip this year.
  10. Good luck on Nosbonsing...hope you get your white shirt slimed up real good!
  11. Good work Ron. You are being polite, honest and fighting a good fight. Most people would blow up or give up in this situation.
  12. Dandy lions in one hand, bullhead in the other. hehehe great shot.

  14. good work mamitou... action is action
  15. i tried kings landing today.... but no action. thts a decent shore spot later in the season.
  16. I'd like to join tonight, even though the weather is bad, but I made some non-fishing commitments for the evening....silly me. We'll hook up for some exploring this summer.
  17. Don't worry, they'll brew more. Nice dark lakers you got there, a successful 2-4 indeed.
  18. St Louis made Lecavalier good and he's doing the same with Stamkos. He's an elite player to say the least.
  19. so THAT"s what a pickeral looks like.... a painted pike. Crazy fog story...even if you got lost, at least you know the fog would eventually lift.
  20. May long weekend produces a lot of good reports! Those cheap spinners worked well. Good bang for your buck. Great report!
