If there is a lot of coarse sand surrounding the river then the fish actually get sandblasted and turn out dull in color. I've seen this on the Athabasca river
...and a gas refinery spills thousands of litres of fuel over 30years into bronte and it's shores and they are allowed to carry-on, business as usual.
This thread definitly shows the mis-treatment of Fisherman.
Edmonton also has a tougher time attracting players.... I hope the northern climate doesn't scare away too many good players from Winnipeg. The Jets management will decide the fate of this team in the end. A properly run team will do well. As long as they don't trade Teemu Selanne again haha. GRRRR to John Paddock the GM back in those days.
x2 on the cood climate, +10 to +25 are my ideal operating temperatures in the summer. +30 is just as bad as -30 imo.
Near the beach, the view is getting better though..., well in some cases,
x2- and like Wayne said, definitly NOT plowed...found out the hard way in March and had to reverse for 2kms.
Great report man, next time, give me a heads up... I'm crazy like you.
I'd like to join tonight, even though the weather is bad, but I made some non-fishing commitments for the evening....silly me. We'll hook up for some exploring this summer.
