  1. Ontario Boat Wreckers might be able to point you in the right direction. 705-333-5533
  2. A recent trip to Couchiching and this was quite a site. At least they limited their destruction to one island. http://vid1180.photobucket.com/albums/x415/jimmer5/M4H00786.mp4
  3. 21 K probably is to cover the cost of their customers trip to wherever they hunted the animal. You just can't replace a set of antlers. When I was a taxidermist, this is what nightmares are made of. Imagine having to make the call to a customer and tell them their trophy is gone.

I was reading some of the recent topics and thought I would experiment with posting photos from photobucket. Back to fishing. Some photos from Manitouwabing and Couchiching. That was weird, it allowed access to all photos on photobucket. Sorry, I deleted the link.
  6. What size, year and kind of motor is it? It's a bad time of the year to bring anything to a marina, unfortunately.
  7. Get the motor back and have someone help you repair it. That's an easy fix.
  8. Just ignore my reply Cliff, obviously it was the wrong answer.
  9. They can be a little pricey.. I say remove it.
  10. Muddy's BBQ in Keene Ontario on the north side of Rice Lake. Sinful!
  11. The worst part about the rocks is that they are very hard to see because they're dark. I saw a boat hit a patch I had just worked my way through and it was 6 inches under the water. The guy drove off, so not sure what kind of damage he sustained.
  12. Life causes cancer. Enjoy it while you're here!
  13. Availability could be an issue in the better places. Camp Ashstabula on Pigeon Lake used to be nice.
  14. That's a beauty combo!
  15. I have noticed more people harvesting bass since the walleye numbers have declined on Pigeon Lake. However, with that being said, there are still 20+lbs of bass weighed in for one day at some tourneys. (I always shake my head at how they do this) Maybe the bass are getting smarter. LOL I'm not sure how a colder winter would effect a bass if they were in the right location, with oxygen and food. The unfrozen water wouldn't be any colder than other years.
  16. Make sure you bring jigs and twisters tails. Fish in 15 - 30 feet. Obviously go deeper if you can't get any at those depths.
  17. It must have been hard to make that final decision Cliff, but I'm sure you put much thought into it. I have lived on 1 acre water front for 30 years and that idea has been creeping into my mind and it's going to be the toughest decision I will ever make. The work is getting tougher and tougher to keep up with. You sold at the right time, when homes around here are flying off the market. Good luck at your new place, glad you're staying in the area.
  18. Most guys that get signed for that amount of money are already on a winning team. Hard for a team to fork our that kind of cash when they don't really know what they have as a team. Don't get me wrong, I would like to see him on the Leafs, but...........
  19. Time flies! That contract up already? Thanks for the correction JB.
  20. Dug this out of my fathers old photos and thought I would share. Probably from the Sudbury area in the 50's. I guess those were the days.
  21. Which part of Buckhorn did you land on? Upper - Lower?
  22. Amazing photos, thanks for sharing and making me feel like I'm missing out on something special. LOL
  23. drop those two in the middle of the artic and leave.
  24. Just hoping they compete so it's worth watching. Something like the end of last season when they seemed to be in games right until the end.
