  1. My lips are sealed on that spot. :-)
  2. I have a 2004 Silverado 1500. I lost my 4x4 this fall and it has me stumped. I hear the motor shift the transfer case. The front drive shaft doesn't turn in 2wd, but will turn in 4wd, but no turning of the front wheels. I changed out the axle actuator with one from the wreckers to see if that's what the problem was. No luck. Has anyone had this experience and found a solution? My next step is to try the actuator outside of the axle to see if the plunger is working. Maybe wiring??? Any tips or hints would be appreciated. Thanks,
  3. Those are my stomping grounds there! Nice job.
  4. They love them in this lake for some reason and easier to work with in the varying depths. They also catch the lakers that are stocked in the lake.

  6. Well I have a conflicting opinion. I struggle to catch bass in the kawarthas (I surrender) during the late fall, but have no trouble catching them on the deeper lakes north of the kawarthas. They do pack up like someone mentioned, because you can usually catch numerous fish in one spot.
  7. I was going to mention a kerosene heater to avoid all the other expenses attached with running a chimney. Wood is really nice though.
  8. So glad I put the snows on my wife's car last weekend!
  9. Didn't really check the water temp, but I would say it was in the low 50's.
  10. A buddy and I were able to hit one of those small Haliburton lakes yesterday to take advantage of one of the better weather days recently. We hit the water around 11 am and were off by 4:30 pm. We easily caught over 30 bass using twisters, wacky rigs, and 6 inch Texas rigs. None of them were over 2 1/2 lbs, but the action was amazing.
  11. You could try Bayview Marina. I used to launch my boat there years ago.
  12. I have only caught saugers in one lake that I fish and they seem to be in the same areas as the walleye.
  13. You are very fortunate to be so close to an amazing fishery. You wouldn't be able to get me off the water if I had those results in my area.
  14. They still have home run power without Edwin and Jose, what they need are more guys that can get on base. I think losing Devon Travis hurt them for on base percentage. Would like to see Edwin back though.
  15. Good learning experience for them.
  16. I had one of those made by Matsu (?), it broke very quickly. The pins that hold it all together jamb and it actually did that when I had it on a muskie and I was alone. That was quite the ordeal, but I was able to get it off and the muskie revived fine. Stick with the best on the market and you will only have to buy it once. The long handled one is the best even though a little costly. I should have taken this advice. LOL
  17. The reason that politicians like Trump and our more local Ford get votes and attention is that people are sick of the same old song and dance. The world should be concerned with either one in place.
  18. 50 Years is something to be proud of, that's for sure. Congratulations to you Lew and your better half!
  19. I used to always go barbless years ago when fishing specifically for muskie, it came in handy when the hooks went into my brothers hand with the muskie still attached. I don't think we lost many because of it, you just have to make sure you keep a tight line.
  20. There are people out there that can benefit from these items Cliff, they usually don't hear about them though. A Place Called Home, The Restore, Women's Resources, etc.
  21. So sad that people haven't learned yet and continue to kill innocents.
  22. What a beautiful looking area.
  23. Rogers has enough money to sign anyone. They have a good thing going with a close to full stadium most nights. They will feel the wrath if they don't manage the signed players properly and drop out of playoff contention in following years. Sometimes we fans let emotions get in the way of the right decision though. Sound contradicting??? Yup. So much comes into play with signing 30 something year old players. Enjoying the edge of my seat for now!
  24. Sweet, thanks for sharing!
  25. I don't ever remember them closing walleye on Rice Lake. They initiated slots and reduced the limit. They shut the walleye fishery down on Lake Scugog last winter. The continued ice fishing on Nipissing is a problem because of the size restriction and the number of walleye caught from water over 30' deep that have to be released. They probably die. Our group had gone there for many many years, but no longer go. We haven't seen the operators adjust by moving their huts to better pike and perch grounds.
