  1. you beat me to it. if i can't catch the pricks i'll poison em one butt at a time.
  2. as big buck mentioned pete pick any two and git er dun.
  3. pete (i assume) central vacs only require 2 wires to fire the remote canister when contact is made in a hose port. as it is low voltage there are essentially no rules for running it. the rough in installer should have used only two of the wires in the cable they ran. if you open a hose port in the house at random you should be able to see which two colors they have selected, and they should all be the same. connect your red and white to either one of those and test. if the rough in did not include connections thru the house just pick any two of the four, and make your own port connections. you could also remove wires from a hose port, connect them together and then begin testing wires in sets of two for continuity with a voltage meter. the one the makes a circuit is your combination. good luck i'll keep an eye out for further questions.
  4. the guys i ice fish with i wouldn't let in my house . maybe its larger groups but smoking drinkin and eatin chili is a big part of ice fishing. watch your guest list for five guys with names like Jim Nasium, who stay up late! places we went around north bay had great deals on hut sleep and eat packages around 90 a day. dont discount the ice hut, 40 a day per person times four guys your making a profit fast on an 800 dollar hut!! good luck!
  5. a certain percentage of water shouldn't cause a no start. if you have drained everything, then jam it full of fresh gas. this should dilute the water in the tank to a negligible amount, and you could eliminate that from your no start problem. it is arguably better to store your fuel tanks full of fuel anyway, it reduces the amount of water and condensation you can get in the tanks and lines (add stabilizer). to properly fog your engine and winterize your boat you really need to have it running first, you want to make sure things like stabilizer and fogging oil are run thru the engine. drain things that carry water, and leave things that don't full.
  6. until the owner of damaged or stolen property reports a problem there is no "investigation" as there is no complainant. the "crime" that may have taken place has no victim as yet. just a thought as to the lack of interest.
  7. the shame of these guys voting their way or changing their minds is how it silences the majority. If 400,000 people in a municipality elect an official because they are Pro (insert whatever issue) that is how the people have their say. when the elected official votes AGAINST (insert issue) then the voices of 400,000 voters have been silenced, or worse, have contributed to the opposition of the issue. Our system of democracy falls flat on its face when elected officials roll over. However the officials due it time and time again without penalty. You know in France they burn down their establishment every hundred years or so.....
  8. awesome work by the feds. my municipality owing a property tax REBATE claims they don't have an address to send the cheque, even though i have recieved quarterly tax BILLS for years......?????
  9. not sure how to make your boat more stable but i've never seen a pro bass fisherman laying down......
  10. i saw a pic of the shark taken from a boat, i'll try to find it. it is reeedickulously huge. check around too there is a story going around about a 28 foot alligator with an 11ft buck in its mouth, all pics taken from a news chopper. maybe someone has the link...
  11. great story! had a chipmunk in my basement the other day???? trapped him (her?) in a corner caught the little fella in a box. went quite well really. let him out the front probably come in the back tomorrow. interesting, just walked onto the apparatus floor, there is a seagull walking around the station....
  12. i have a 2 bank and just charge the batteries for my 24v setup (terrova 80lb) and charge the main battery occasionally with a seperate charger, probably dont need to as often as i do.
  13. i did it in november no big deal only issue is the MTO no longer issues temp plates for trailers, talked to every dept branch out there finally just printed it all off to demonstrate to the Potential OPP officer that i had tried everything to get one. while the trailer qualifies for the RIV program a recall notice is not required but the canadian tire inspection is. no 72 hour notice required at the border either. just a bunch of paperwork hoops to jump thru, id do it again. check this http://boating.ncf.ca/buy-usa.html
  14. i assume by here you mean the town docks???? how is the size of the average perchie there?
  15. thurs hit georgina and thorah for perch. pretty slow but okay sizes, kept better than 2 to 1. used worm tips cause no minnows. 30' + seemed the key, caught a giant sucker on 2lb ultralight. just a heads up... sibbald point ramp is closed for some time the bait shop in jackson's point is closed
  16. there are 27 kinds of goodyear wranglers. there are 56 kinds of bridgestone duelers. all are rated drastically different on sites like the tire rack. for me - the good year wrangler silent armour is the best tire in the universe, on or off the road. huge increase in stability on dry pavement, awesome wet weather and snow performance with 0 increase in road noise. 30k and no visible wear whatsoever. got wholesale prices from a guy on the job, PM if you are in the hamilton area and interested.
  17. we'd put eye of the tiger on the karaoke machine at the local bar and take turns cranking out our favorites. mine - champ's on a donkey ride and needs to releive himself. the guide asks champ, can i hold your ass while you piss? you know what comes next.
  18. fishing world was selling these quantums for 100 no tax a while ago i picked up two matched them with shimano convergence MH's, really like them. i fish all shimano stradics and sedonas on my spinning rods and as such was partial to the curados, but got the accurist at half the price. money into a baitcaster is great advice but i beleive the accurist is a cheap high end reel, not an expensive low end reel. it has performed well and i would buy them again. interesting as previous post has said the finish is fragile, both of mine are banged up, doesn't effect performance.
  19. got the same story from my family. one week on couchiching early october. no interest, they've had enough. might make it a boys trip?
  20. the first time i tried vanish i couldn't find a knot that didn't sever the line like butter. this line broke so easily and had such little knot strength we came to the conlusion that some unscrupulous person had bought the flouro, used it, and rewound the spool with crappy old mono. sound like it might have been just crappy old flourocarbon.
  21. sunrise resort lower buckhorn not bad, ill look up soem others
  22. had to renew my outdoors card at local walmart (american) because my local canadian tire (canadian) does not issue fishing or gaming licences?? four months on the temp and waiting......
