  1. Nice fish, Congrats. I guess with the warm weather coming there won't be much easy travel left on the lake.
  2. I was there today and walked out only $120 short. There were some great deals though, lots more then in the flyer. They had an aluminium boat full of Storm packs of soft body jig bodies, craws and minnows for only $0.59. For the hunters there's still some great deals on clothing and hunting gear. It was a busy day there but well worth the drive.
  3. Congrats on a great day Terry and Thanks for the report and pics.
  4. Great looking fish, Congrats and let the softwater season begin.
  5. Way to go Headhunter and Good Luck with the job Gerritt.
  6. Sorry to hear the bad news Maureen. Were all thinking of you.
  7. Great photos again Solo. You have seen a great part of the country, keep the pics coming. Mike
  8. I feed them in winters as well. Try using a mix with lots of sunflower seeds and peanut kernals and the Bluejays and cardinals really like them. Once they find your feeder they will make it a regular stop. We've been feeding them at the hall each winter as well and we have about a dozen cardinals staying in the area year round now.
  9. Great report Moose. Are you going to get to do the fly in before ice out this year. It's one of the reports with monster fish I look forward to each year. Mike
  10. I'm buying a Bimini for my boat this summer as I have a single console boat. Alot cheaper and at least I'll be able to hide out from the sun and rain a bit. If I owned a full console boat with windshield I would invest in the full enclosure though for those nasty days.
  11. I know they catch them off Brighton and Quinte area so I can't see why they wouldn't be that little bit further.
  12. Thanks for the report Tip-up. Your having a great season on the hard water this year. Keep the reports coming. Mike
  13. Congrats Dan, you always have some great shots.
  14. Have a great trip Jamie. Make sure you bring us back some pics and stories to go along with them. Mike
  15. Not bad in the Peterborough area. Lots of snow last night and then light rain on top but today roads seem to be ok and haven't heard of many problems.
  16. Nice job Twister. Some great eating there, enjoy.
  17. Happy Birthday Joe, hope you enjoyed the day. Mike
  18. Great report TG. Thanks and better late then never. I guess with you going that early this year the trips not far away now, hope you enjoy.
  19. Congrats, they make a great motor.
  20. Check out Leuenebergers out of Nakina. I've been using them for the last 6 yrs and will be again this year. They do have a few lakes that they will do 3 day trips to, and you will not be dissapointed with the fishing, accomodations, equipment and the planes. It's about a 13 hr drive from your place. The only problem with fly-ins anymore is the price, since 9-11 the insurance rates and fuel have gone thru the roof and so have prices on the trips. Good Luck
  21. Thanks for getting the results up Don. Glad to see Derek and Ben did well, they both are great anglers. Going to be an interesting summer for the two of them working up north. I'm sure we'll get lots of stories when they return.
  22. Thats one monster size suit, I guess she won't be borrowing that one from you.
