Gerritt no worries. Everyone goes thru there time on here when they vent a bit. We see it every year and more often in the winter months. It was your turn and some of the things said where aimed in the right direction and hopefully heard. As for going for a walk and cooling off, you sure picked the right time of the year for that. It's -23 with the wind chill today that should do it. Mike

Welcome aboard and I would start your search by checking this site out. Lots of great camps to choose from. Click here to got to OFC Directory Just choose and area and go from there. When you get it narrowed down ask on here for more info on certain places and I'm sure someone has been there or knows of it to help out. I don't think you can go wrong with the Nipissing area this time of the year. There's always fish being caught up there. Good Luck with it.

I know that Rogers in Toronto does not carry it. They do carry videos on demand but you have to pay to watch them and there's only a couple to choose from that have been on the list forever. So your probably out of luck. Go back to expressvu.

John Elmhirst would be a great spot and lots of fish to be caught right by the resort. Also there are many smaller towns in the north with airports you could land at and most resorts will arrange a pick up for you there to there camps. Depending on how far you are willing to fly it can open up a lot of fishing for you. Mike

Congrats on the new unit. I was checking it out on LB's site, It should do you well. Once you learn how to get the most out of it with the features you'll love it. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the lowrance/eagle products. Good Luck with it.

The speck bite was on in early Jan. I haven't heard and reports lately but the ice is alot better now and its opens the area up for more fishing.
