  1. Ok, I've never heard of the weed blast method but I gotta try it!
  2. Zip, zero, nothin, nada! Very disappointing but it's been a weird start to the year
  3. Well you did better than me. I'm on Upper Buckhorn and caught nuttin! Caught nuttin today either! Water temp is only 52f. Hope it warms up soon. Care to say what lure you were using? I used white twister, black twister, deep diving perch and live target minnow.
  4. 2 Deka Series 27 12v Trolling Motor Batteries for Sale These batteries were used for one season. They are in excellent shape. Less than 2 years old $200 for both Located in Ennismore
  5. Like new marine/boat starter battery. Series 3600 with 1000 Cranking Amps and 800 Cold Cranking Amps. Located in Ennismore. Asking $75
  6. Has anyone ever updated their card? Is it worth it? Mine's about 10 years old and I'm on Upper Buckhorn Lake. Can't imagine it's changed that much.
  7. I've had the 3.6L in two vans and then my 2016 Ram. I towed my 17' G3 and I had no problems. My new Ram has the 5.7L Hemi. Only difference I really notice is the gas mileage. Way better with the 3.6. So next truck I will go back to the 3.6L.
  8. I have a 2011 Yamaha 115. Absolutely no problems. If you've ever been to the Caribbean, they mostly run Yamahas and occasionally you'll see a Honda. That should tell you something.
  9. That's too bad. I've done a number of trips with Hearst Air and all were great, but then again we were fishing and it was the summer.
  10. I've owned both over the years and have decided that the only engine on my boat will be a grey one. Preferably Yamaha but Honda is a close second. If you ever are down south, all you'll see is Yamaha.
  11. Ever been on a fly-in trip with guy who gets squirrely from the isolation on day 3 of a 7 day trip? That's fun!
  12. I had the same isse with my boat. Was stranded a few times. I got a cranking/deep cycle battery. The finders draw off the deep cycle side and the motor pulls off the cranking side. Never had a problem since. Wasn't that much more expensive than a regular cranking battery.
  13. There's lot of perch and some rock bass too!
  14. Hi all, I'm trading out my Terrova for an Ulterra and I have no idea what to ask for it? The Terrova is about 7 years old, 24v, 80lb thrust, 52" shaft, foot pedal and remote, universal sonar and i-Pilot. I can't find any used ones for sale to compare it to. Thoughts for a price?
  15. I always pay the extra $s to rent the sat phone from the outfitter. Haven't had to use it but nice to know it's there if I need it.
  16. Hearst Air - it's a bit of drive for you but I've never been disappointed.
  17. 1981 Ford Escort. At one point it was leaking every fluid imaginable!
  18. Upper Buckhorn is pretty much frozen.
  19. Does anyone use one that has a live view?
  20. Hi all, headed to Yellowknife and will have some time to fish. Anyone have any experience with a charter operator there? Will probably have a morning or afternoon to fish.
