Your right and I realize that. I was there to buy a TV, plain and simple. Plasma, LCD or LED. I bought a TV that was on sale and it was not the most expensive one I was looking at. She just sold me on Plasma vs. LCD/LED.... TDunn

I have a nanook non-thermal.....Its great! I have no complaints about it although Ive had it dripping water. As mentioned the more heat the more condensation. My next portable will be a thermal to help prevent the dripping...... You will be very happy with a nanook thermal! TDunn

I just purchased a 42" samsung plasma last week for my new place in jan. We were leaning towards an LCD until the saleswoman started asking me questions like how much sports do I watch and about the lighting in the room. She had also mentioned that it had the same life span as the others (LCD,LED) which was 100,000 hours. I was told not to buy plasma before I went looking because of over heating issues. I did ask her about that and she said with the new technology now it isn't an issue. I hope she's right and I did give her the benefit of the doubt because in all honesty, I know nothing about TV technology. Its hard to say from the replies if I made the right decision. We will see I guess. There are some great deals right now TV's tho....Wow.. TDunn

Wicked video Mr. Thorpe! Your one dude I would love to fish with at some point in my life. I noticed Krupa in there but not his buddy Ari Vineberg? I fished with Ari last year and I know hes a muskie nut too! Great fish and memories Marc! TDunn

Ive been busy at work putting in 6 days a week with only sundays off. These short days are really a pain when your in construction. The days go by so fast and it really seems like you get nothing done compared to the summer months. Hopefully finish this building by the weekend. As mentioned most of my time has been spent at work and not on the water, although the fish have co-operated when I did get out. I wish I could write a more in depth report but I came down with the flu yesterday and have been in bed since. I just don`t have it in me right now. Anyways heres some pics from my last trip to a trib north of town. My cousin Ted and I hit a river that we have only ever fished in the spring. Results were good and we didnt see another angler the entire day. Ive only been out in the boat for steel once and it was only for 3 hours one sunday afternoon. Trolled spoons and minnowbaits on riggers. Also bounced some spawn which produced only small bows and an atlantic. This is where I plan on spending the majority of the remaining open water season. One more open water report to come then its ice time! TDunn

Wow! The Kootenay region is the most relaxing spot I have ever visited or fished. Good luck with your new business. The hardwork will pay off so you can enjoy some more time on the river. I look forward to some future reports from you. Wicked Bull by the way! TDunn
