  1. This seems like a phony choice and the "real" "surprise" artist will come out and blow the roof off the joint. No mandolins or lutes in sight. Mark
  2. Truly great video! Thanks for taking the time. Just amazing! Cheers, Mark
  3. Imagine what would happen if someone was mean to him.....on the internet....in private. Sleigh ing em
  4. I use a Makita for my Fin-Bor III 8". I baby it. I pull up on the drill and clear the hole often as I go. I keep the batteries warm throughout the day(Store in cooler bag with hot water bottle, etc.). I have (5) 18V 3ah batteries available to use but, I rarely use more than two for my purposes. Every manufacturer now offers brushless and all now have bigger batteries available. Makita now has a 5ah. Beware of manufacturers claims as to ft/lbs, etc. as there isn't an industry standard on how these numbers are achieved and most are numbers achieved while not under load purely for advertising purposes. Cheers, Mark
  5. Best overall - Dave's cabin construction for sure. Best Fishing - Drew's fishing reports. Best photos - Rodbenders photos. A lot of great talent and energy provided to the site. Thanks for another great year! Cheers, Mark
  6. Clarence Carter - Back Door Santa
  7. LeBaron still sells the Galvanized traps that are made in the USA. SouthBend and the others that CDN. Tire and the like sell, are made in China. I wonder if there is a difference in the construction or in the "galvanizing"? Cheers, Mark
  8. Toast and/or dry out the bread before putting it in the trap. Boilies, cat food have also worked. Seasonal movement needs to be taken into accout but, if you see minnows in a spot/river...you just found a successful spot to trap. Cheers, Mark
  9. Balance and moderation in a diet is all you need(and for most things[fishing excluded]). No need for a "detox". No miracle cure, just common sense. Cheers, Mark
  10. We use the hitch mounted cargo carrier for our sled. We invested in a adjustable receiver extension to move the carrier closer to the ground so it wouldn't interfere with the tailgate even when loaded. You seem to have already convinced yourself of the next course of action. I also don't see what the problem is strapping it to the side or top of the ATV if you don't want the carrier. Cheers, mark
  11. Beauty Buck! He must've been part of the Russian Olympic program. Good luck next weekend. Cheers, Mark
  12. That is awesome man! Well done! Mark

  14. There is a Mennonite butcher that I have used North west of Kitchener and was very pleased with the job they did and their price. Very clean setup. Cheers, Mark
  15. Is this your first viral video? Youtube is your friend. Nice Pike. Cheers, Mark
  16. This is why Brian is asking. He said the version he already built is not working out the way he had hoped. Seems the Clam version maybe has more to it than he first thought. Cheers, Mark
  17. A cougar came into town and amazingly, wasn't killed. I hope the MNR/Police are taking notes. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/cougar-tranquillized-near-b-c-legislature-in-victoria-1.3256866 Cheers, Mark
  18. All of this is a by-product of lack of enforcement. All of it. I will never understand why they can not do better. It is nothing short of shameful. I fear there will be more blood on their hands when some frustrated landowner/legal fisherman/concerned citizen feels forced to confront one of the yahoos themselves and an escalation ensues. Mark
  19. Thats scary. Glad everybody is ok. Just as an aside. What torque rating do people torque their lugnuts to? Cheers, Mark
  20. It would really have to stick around for awhile. I believe they are sitting on 30 billion in cash. GM thing was an unforseen problem with an asinine response and coverup. VW thing appears to be outright fraud and deceit with an asinine response and coverup. To their buyers, to the EPA, to the states and Countries that have allowed the vehicles/dealers on the road under deceitful certifications, to their shareholders who thought the company would operate in the best interests of the company... I can see many attorneys general filing suits, though Tennessee would be a surprise. Cheers, Mark
  21. At least in California, I believe they will have to buy back the cars. The EPA fines, the class actions, torpedoed business reputation and valuation, demoralizing the diesel sector.... time to pack up and go home boys. My question is...when can the sitting smugly "clean" diesel owners go back to sitting smugly? Cheers, Mark
  22. Jim Jefferies - salty language, funny as h-e-double hockey sticks, on topicCheers, Mark https://youtu.be/ML4iIiRHcJY
