  1. Wow what a great report. What a monster of a pike too, congrats!

  3. Holy crap man, awesome posts! Nice looking addition to your family as well. I got a 16 month boy, such good times ahead.
  4. Wow, that's scary. Glad your safe, thanks for sharing.
  5. I'm proud to say I don't have a single service with Bell (Home phone is with Rogers). Bell once sent me a bill out of the blue for a phone number I've never owned and was apparently hooked up 3 years prior to a different address (The police station) but under my name! The bill was for $1700 and it took me 4 months to get cleared. After that I switched everything from them. Screw Bell, I'd never go back.
  6. I picked up base camp (not thermal - was on a budget) in Dec. Looking forward to giving it a whirl.
  7. We use to fish from a small zodiac and inflated it each time (We'd go a couple times a week). After pumping it by foot the first few outings we just opted for a small portable air compressor. Then you can pack the boat in your vehicle very easily and it's way quicker to inflate. It also lets you get the rest of your gear ready while it blows up.
  8. I just returned that sled the other day, I got both that and the 60 for xmas. 60 is much better imo, bigger & more sturdy.
  9. Just keep in mind they are calling for above freezing temps Today-Sat, so just be safe. Friday is +4 and Saturday is +7. 10mm of rain on Fri & 5mm on Sat.
  10. Unless someone specifically says Chain Pickerel, then it's safe to assume they are referring to walleye when they say just pickerel.
  11. That's just great. I have a 16 month old, looking forward to the months ahead.
  12. My condolences, I never knew him personally but my thoughts are with you & his family. I'm in a similar situation right now, I lost a cousin of mine on Friday. You may have heard it on the news. He was alone at his cottage in Bracebridge when it went up in flames at 3am. He battled cancer for 3 years and was finally free of it this fall. He was happy again and to have this happen on Christmas Eve was a nightmare. Christmas felt different this year.
  13. American Choppers... really? Pawn Stars and Ice Road Truckers though are pretty addictive.
  14. Spengler Cup lol. The most entertaining part of this tournament is seeing who has the ugliest jerseys.
  15. I live in Barrie and if you don't have winter tires on here you should have your tires slashed or just be a hermit.
  16. Don't forget the measureoonie lol. Great report as usual.
  17. I live in Barrie and use the trusted shovel all year. Sucks.
  18. My dad stepped on the ladder coming down the roof clearing the snow 3 years ago. Ladder slipped out and he landed on the deck and broke his back. Was in a body cast for 8 months. Needless to say be careful.
  19. I don't mind the 2-3 feet I've shoveled in the last couple days here (Barrie as well). What bothers me is when I went to do the garbage this morning and it's -24C outside. Those temps should be reserved for only arctic folk at this time of year.
