    Is anyone here using a motorguide xi5? I'm in need of electric and most likely going terrova. But would like to hear people's input on the new motorguide, especially people who may have fished both and can compare the two , I'm looking at 24volt 80lb Thanks

    Cabelas salt striker is nice for the money I have one 12-25 I believe 3 piece , Okuma citrix 4 piece . LL bean has some that go on sale often. Fenwick makes some travel rods.

    Okuma citrix is a nice little 4 piece, cabelas salt striker 3 piece is nice for $100 and LLBean has a travel rod with great reviews

    I use a shimano 8000 baitrunner spinning reel with 50lb power pro, use big popper 5"+ a lot to keep baits up high. And the longer bait seems to help keep leaders out of the teeth.Cudas cut through 100lb floro like nothing, I started using the tufline wire lead material

    Baits are made to look like food, fish like food. The species specific labels are more for catching fisherman I think. Trout will eat just about anything

      Article on the news just last night about two Postal workers charged with possession of stolen property.

      I had to wait a month (in case it showed up after an internal trace). Then they cut me a cheque for the full amount. My loss was a $200 Stradic. No wonder they are losing money and the cost of a stmp just went up to a buck.

    Cabelas salt striker is a good travel rod you can some times get the combo on sale, Okuma Citrix is nice for the money, also LL bean makes a travel rod with good reviews, ugly stick also makes one that is pretty indestructible

    Sorry if someone went over this. But I'm closing on my first home March 3rd with my GF, we both had an idea of what we wanted, and I avoided a reno home to a well keep home, I ended up with a house that was at our high end of budget but move in /liveable. There's room to upgrade but liveable, if I had to do a full reno debating over. Paint, counter space......etc..... I'd be a bachelor and fishing the salt all winter , Dang......... I'd only flip or build my forever home if I could afford a second home I don't want to live in a construction site

      Good for you remember to pay a little extra every month and you will be surprised at how fast it is payed off.
