  3. I use a 7' loomis Imx 4-8 lb by far one of my all time favorite rods , i use it for perch , bass trout crappie just an awesome stick for bigger trout I use an str 1141s Imx its a 9'6" ultra light 4-8 lb this rod is my all time favorite

  10. What is your weight restriction to fly into camp with? I'm assuming you'll need to have some coolers and stuff like that? I'm pretty sure if I was flying in for a week I'd need more than 50lbs worth of gear , but I've never done it so I'm just guessing
  11. I really like the sustain I've been using it from the boat on the lower Niagara for trout and the drag hasn't failed me yet ! So if handles the big jumps and runs of 10lb chromers I have no doubt it will handle any Bass on erie this summer . Minus the dumb kickstand lol

I bought mine on ebay for 250 and it came with 300yards of whatever size braid I wanted ! So far so good for me
  14. A 17' with a full windshield is going to fish about as big as your 14' go big as you can with a full shield IMO

  16. I'm heading to mayan rivera on wednesday I'll be staying at the barcelo colonial , curious if anyone has fished there this time of year and what is around in the winter ? I'm bringing a 6 , 8. And 10wt fly rod and a spinning rod cause I'd hate to go and not have what I need LOL one pair of shorts and 4 rods hahaha. This isn't really a fishing trip but if I can find fish ill likely hire a guide for a day or 2 Thanks for anything you can help with Jeff

  18. Those 300 hondas are pretty well bullet proof , I've put one through years of mud , water, trees , rocks you name it, it was through it and that machine never let me down once ! I sank it once it a water hole .... Pulled it out let it sit for 5 mins and it fired back up and rode it the rest of the weekend. And if your buddy has owned it you at least know where it's been .
  19. Ive never had a problem crossing any of the bridges here but almost always cross the rainbow it's the shortest bridge and seems to move the quickest , queenston always seems busy not sure why maybe that's the first one a gps points out to you ......
