TFO BVK is a great rod for the money , i have the 12 wt , the 8wt came in third in a rod shoot out with all the big names i believe last year or the year before , and you can order direct from alberta in a couple days also the warranty is fast and painless from what i understand . i use a GLX crosscurrent 6wt and its a great rod also but up there in price unless you can find a deal on a used one . i wouldnt hesitate on a BVK though for the cash its a great stick IMO also check the big action site for a deal

We mainly went on our own , we did hire a guide on the boat 2 out of the 14 days but its mostly on our own

I spent April 13-28th in Cayo Coco Cuba this year fly fishing and relaxing , had some good days with Cudas and bonefish , saw sharks , rays, big sea turtles weather was great. Heres a couple pics from the trip , i didnt get many cause i broke my Camera at the pool bar trying to be funny oops

I bought my terminator leader at leBarons , that was 2 years ago but that's were I found it

I just bought the tuf line leader but its still in the mail , http://www.tuf-line.com/products_Specialty-Lines_20.html I have a pack of the titanium leader in 40lb your welcome to if your passing by the area .i found it to be a pain to tie while waist deep in water ,the knots never pull tight really it even says that on the pack, so the knots always seem bulky . The wraps of your clinch knot wont pull up tight to each other . But it is good for not kinking

fly fishing Cuba mid april for 2 weeks Bonefish , permit maybe tarpon and possibly Costa rica in October for a week still researching this one , I want a roosterfish !

yea the same boat in a console is rated for a 175 but the tiler only a 90 , I believe its because of the no Hydraulic steering on the tillers when they were rated would be an awesome boat with 150 on it

The alumacraft is an awesome boat my Dad has it and it handles Big water no problem , it is heavy though and with a 90 tops out at like 35mph which is fine , but 45 would be better

yup GO train will drop you right on the EX back door , have to walk maybe two minutes
