CO Craig out of Minden is one of the good ones too. I've seen him keep his cool while a guy gets in his face, yelling insults at him. Funny story, ice fishing at 9am he shows up and notices lots of crushed beer cans in my sleigh. I say I obviously haven't had 15 beers this morning. He does his thing, we chat, when he's leaving he says "have a good day, oh yeah Chris, you might want to empty out your sleigh after each day"

It isn't the ideal trolling motor for that boat but yeah, good price and that little thing will hold it's value.

I could give you a few places to camp 15 minutes north of Coby. I assume you're towing a boat so that would not work for some of the more remote camping spots. I have fished early season pike in Balsam. It's ok, but it's more of an excuse to get the boat in the water than anything.

Bunks are adjustable but rollers usually aren't. Either way, it may not sit perfect, but it's nothing a few ratchet straps can't fix.

The marine mechanic on my cottage road said Canadian Tire batteries are usually toast after 2 years. He recommended a Crown deep cycle. Yeah, kayaks are made for paddle'n though

Yep! For some guys, if they spend decent money on something, it's automatically a great investment. I can admit I've wasted money on some expensive crap.

Check out Air Dale, new owners, Martin and Jen Wearn, the lakes and the camps would be an upgrade compare to Lee's stuff. I'm assuming you have used Lee before. I'd be interested to hear how your trips were. I've portaged into quite a few of those lakes and I'm pretty sure Lee would have shot me if he had caught me back there, LOL.
