  1. There could be some money to be made on this, the bass guys likely NEED 3, 3.5 and 4 foot drop shotting rods to cover all their bases for all circumstances
  2. I've got way more hours vertical jigging lakers on an ice rod rather than a long rod in a boat, so there's a comfort factor there too this could be a new trend
  3. Beauty tank laker Bri! I wonder what the story about loosing half its tail. I've never heard of using an ice rod for open water jigging, what's the advantage?
  4. Having confidence in the lure your throwing is half the battle, lol Looks like a great day on the water with family.
  5. Tayzak has posted some giant fish pictures from Horwood. A PM to him might be worthwhile.
  6. Yes there's large and small mouth and natural lake trout with a slot size in Bob.
  7. I'm just curious, what inspired you to post on this old thread Gary? I kind of just call that whole area the "Chapleau area" and yeah, I know what you're saying, some seemingly odd, local knowledge can make the difference between a banner day and a crap day. It's a weird bunch of elusive fish up there, but they are there. I'd love to fish Dog for a week.
  8. We could sneak past them, look at our record, but we don't have the horses that get fire in their eyes when it's playoff time. There's a difference between good players and good players who aren't satisfied unless it's a championship.
  9. Flat lining for sure, different weight spoons, this weekend should be prime
  10. That's a big arse wolf. I'm surprised how far along the trees are up there, the poplars have bigger leaves than Haliburton.
  11. Whoa, that cloud kinda looks like a dragon, cool I'm always envious of what you've got in your "backyard" Ricky, get the other pics up
  12. That crayfish is OOS. Awesome report, cute kid, can't wait until my little guy is old enough.
  13. ..... I don't think she's on fishing forums, so why don't you guys actually fukn do something instead of whining here?
  14. Dudes, I'm saying we all live in the same atmosphere, why do we have to breath China's crap?
  15. Total pollutant emissions by country, Canada 1.6%, China 24% We all live on the same planet, I don't have the answer and neither does this plan
  16. I hope this is a joke and he didn't actually write and send that, embarrassing, and he should have more important stuff to do. Hopefully the Raps are loose and relaxed going in as the under dogs.
  17. I think things are looking up for all Toronto pro sports teams, very cool, hopefully the curse is broken
  18. I think you'll be disappointed with the fishing at Grundy. I'd drive into Kiosk (APP) for bass, nice waterfront sites too, but partying likely won't be tolerated.
  19. If it exists, Adam's got it, pm adempsey and see if he can help you out
  20. Not a good opener for sure, but stuff is just stuff and can be replaced or forgotten about, hopefully the insurance guys aren't pricks, give your kids a hug, that's all I've got
  21. I thought since you were asking a question you were looking for input??? That's what you got.
  22. No, his avatar thing says he's from Toronto, it makes no sense to go to LSC for pike.
  23. Yeah, that doesn't sound like a good plan, regardless of what the regs say. Personally, I don't think pike should be open all year in zone 17 (Kawarthas) either, it's way too hard on the out of season bass, walleye and skis.
  24. That sounds about right, doing environmental assessment but being paid by the mining company, it's like a constant conflict of interest. Regardless, call me a tree hugger too because that sounds like a sweet gig
