Mine goes in the garage on a board or foam on the floor and get's checked 1 time mid winter and then again as the spring is coming and then thrown on the charger. Why, old habit... I'm sure it would be fine in the boat, covered outside the garage but old habits die hard... This year was the 1st time in 6+ years I needed a new cranking battery following my old routine BUT there was a constant draw draining it that was found later after there was no saving it... Less work if it's/they are safe in the boat and you keep checking on them to ensure they are not drained...

Well IO as I'm sure you recall I was a Bell rep till I left there recently. As for HBO/TMN that's a $25 add on to ANY plan and about $37 if you have the Super Channel too. As for general TV channels I say look at the channel line up in the Good pkg and then the Better pkg. Those are the stock line up's. Let's say, the Good pkg + TMN/HBO covers you but the Mrs (or you) MUST have one or two missing channels... That's fine you can add them to the Good for $4 or $7 per channel. Still less than going to Better pkg. You can also add a few "a la cart" channels for a flat fee to to the Good pkg BUT TMN/HBO are not in that as they are a premium pkg. Keep in mind TMN/HBO has some free on demand movies/shows but the $6.99 ones are Pay Per View On Demand. That means not on the current month TMN pkg but if you really must see it you pay for it like you have been. Do you actually use the Time Shifting? If not there is a cash savings there too. One thing I can say is that they are a true 1080P HD service for Sat TV and well; the other companies are not. BlueRay vs VHS unless the others have done something new in the past 30 days... Keep in mind this one thing! If ever calling looking for a loyalty team to cancel (any service carrier) the calmer and cool you are in that call the easier it is for the agent on the other end to be willing to help and the odds are you score a new deal and get what you want and get it done much faster. I was with a cable company for a while when I moved here. I noted and called often about actual service issues I had. Well, keeping calm and collected I was refunded $427 for my 'lack of service' when I called to cancel it. Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions about that company OI and what to do. But really scan the channel line up in both Good and Better pkg's and you can see what I mean. The "Select" pkg is no longer offered after the CRTC made all the new pkg's a year or so ago. So if you change to a current pkg you cannot go back!!

and it was a 60's to 70's unit... so label could have been over or under powered. I did the 'underwater drag' with the bowrider when I was a kid going from the tinner to the big boat. 1 and only time and then the very next try i was up and skiing. However your post is a great idea to not have the rope secure to you don't drag a child like I was as a kid. In the 70's we didn't think of those extra safety steps to be honest... Hey I'm still here however and I got right back at at try 2 right after that cause I was a kid and willing to prove I can do it. Man I miss wakeboarding and skiing

when I was a kid (yeah a LONG time ago) I could ski on kids/trick ski's but the best thing to use was those big styrofoam surfboards and we used a 12' springbook with a 7hp Johnson. So if the two in the boat are light then yes give it a go!

A Shimano for sure! I can drop off for warranty and service (as a plus) but I've had next to no issues with any I've owned/have. Now Ardent on the other hand, pure trash! Blew up the drag on a big fish the 1st day using it! I got the one for $100 too so it should have been decent but NOPE it sure wasn't! I also have a Pflueger Patriarch (new last off season) but yet to get a fish that can really test the drag on it but it is nice to hold and use.

The one was a nice one, buddy sold the truck. Just not sure if it would fit yours is all

When I would play in ball tourney's I'd just drop the tailgate and leave it open with a tarp covering the open end and I'd sleep under the cover I had. Now the (now ex) refused due to the trapped feeling as the cover isn't too far from you... If you are not afraid of the space then why spend more... And yes USED is a good option. I found snow tends to build up between cap and the back window of the truck when I had a cap.

Now that is a good answer for more help going forward. You could have been in Ottawa and ppl would have offered other places closer to QC. Me I got nothing but I bet you get more replies or PM's now that you said where you are and total travel time. Good luck either way!
