  1. We have a winner! I missed that game, born in 73...
  2. the artist's initials are KD (no, not Kraft Dinner)
  3. Welcome to the site and I haven't fished that area in over 15 years to offer help. I do have family still on Potash lake however but I never get there.
  4. Buddy had the same type rig and to get up and go I'd have to sit up front then move to mid boat and on windy day's with a decent chop we'd both get wet due to splash. However if that isn't an issue make due till ya can right? And no prob. G
  5. this is the whole list in my area that has a 40HP for sale (some full boat pkg's) http://www.kijiji.ca/b-boat-watercraft/peterborough/40hp/k0c29l1700218
  6. FYI I just seen this in the short time since my last post http://www.kijiji.ca/v-powerboat-motorboat/peterborough/40hp-evinrude/1280302152?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
  7. You may not see them but they are out there. What I mean is place an ad posting what you want and that may provoke someone with a 35 or 40 wanting to jump to a bigger unit as well for their boat to reply and make you an offer. Ad's are free so no harm there right? Good luck and yeah MAX it out like the others have said.
  8. man it sure was crowded at the river today, sucked!

  9. That's the reason for the hat, jacket and the pic. Capt REDNECK Obvious. No not to old (both you and I). The "arctic white" came after the stress of a major car crash. (43 so it spread) As for the picture on the wall I still want the other one of the skates being tied. *hint for those trying to guess the pic it's a 1972*
  10. Hey Lindsay locals, I'm heading to the river for a bit (@4pm) for a quick fish, WFN hat, say Hi

  11. Can I play? Capt in the house... HA
  12. Was that me you were thinking of here?
  13. Nice going Mr B and congrats on the PB LMB, it sure was a clean and nice looking fish!
  14. And there is a new leader, WINNING!
  15. Idea here. Is it an option to keep the current boat for fishing only and get a different boat for the water sports? I ask based on the fact that it looks like you are willing to spend a decent amount.
  16. For the win!
  17. Naw the folks you may have heard that about were straight up car jacked is all. Yeah they can and should do so more often.
  18. for the win!
  19. It depends on the rain gear. Good stuff yeah! Not so good and you end up soaked to the bone? Then a short trip. If I'm stuck due to rain and like stated about the wind I'll head out on my own if the winds are low. It's all in how you dress.
  20. Again I personally do not know if there was kept fish but I would guess so. And YES the fine should be way more! One person breaks 2 rules and pays the same as another person who broke 1 rule. Where does that make sense to anyone?
  21. I haven't been in years but I recall it wasn't a huge lot. If it's a nice forecast then you are taking chances as it may fill up quick JB. Also keep that extra few min for the Shawa as a back up plan. Good luck
  22. Well I have an older glass bowrider (18 1/2') with a 115 on the back and it's fine for wakeboarding and all the family fun stuff. However it doesn't have a rod locker or livewell. My kids (13 and 10) and I can fish out of it no problem. Me up front and they share the back. If I had the cash to make a change I'd make sure I get one with almost the max motor rating and I'd stick to glass as I like the smoother ride. *edit to add* but make sure you have a way to tow it properly. Glass is that much more weight right...
  23. more than likely kept fish so this way the MNR has photo proof to back up the charges one would guess
  24. So one guy get's away with only one fine from the looks of it. This guy should have been given two fines. "Cong Luu of Toronto, pleaded guilty to fishing in a fish sanctuary and without a licence and was fined a total of $750."
  25. Print out the law showing the rule and then go talk to the police and point him out.
