  1. That was my point.. You're not using the scope at 9X, the only reason you're doing that at the range is to site it in as close as possible. I can't imagine using 9X out in the field unless I'm making monster shots which I'd never be doing. I've only ever had mine on 3x. More then enough for any shot I'm taking.
  2. If you're getting good groups at 9X @ 100 yrds, why are you worried about shooting the scope at 3x or 4x? It's still going to be shooting straight. You've got a huge target area on a deer.
  3. This is all I use for flouro > hook. Not a fan of Froghair though.

    More Deer

A few more years and that top buck is going to be a giant!
  5. I'd like a few consecutive days in waste deep cold water tossing hardware for big feisty chromers. That and my reno getting near completion.
  6. All my rods are hung up on wood brackets I've made that I've screwed to the joists in the furnace room. Out of the way, off the floor, not going to step on them, etc.. Got a nice little desk down there for tying roe, organizing tackle.. Mini man cave
  7. Google Calendar, then it doesn't matter what phone you're using at the time.
  8. Still have a year before mine expires, although this thread made me check! lol! thanks Rob!
  9. Like most other people I'd probably have a delay inbetween when the mag comes out before any of that content is posted online, especially when people will be paid subscribers. That edition was great Mike! Can't wait until the next one!
  10. I'm honestly surprised he made it to 48.
  11. I'd love to 'stumble' onto a musky like that as well. Great job Mike!
  12. I'd run the Raven line over Big Game for main line. It's not expensive and handles the cold weather a lot better.
  13. Even with my hero drifts there's no way I'm coming close to getting into my backing, lol!! What are those spoons of Nanofil? 150yrds?
  14. Art, you'd think but some people still like to drop 50k on a truck and not spend $1000 on winter tires
  15. I did my course a few years ago and it was months before I had a valid PAL in hand to actually purchase ammo or a firearm.
  16. Can you get a Blizzak in a E load range 10 ply? My oldman just picked up a set of Winterforce LT's for his Duramax.
  17. No different then your standard trailer wiring.
  18. You should never be into your backing anyhow. 15-20lb mono will fill the spool with ease.
  19. I run the PA LED lights on both the boat and utility trailer. Zero issues.
  20. Listen to Dave. That config will work great and won't break the bank (Compared to spooling up with superline)
