Are the hull numbers currently registered under you? That needs to be transferred to the new owner. This is basically the ownership and how to government makes sure you've paid the tax.

I've found the only time Nanofil breaks is when it's been nicked on rocks, etc. This is why once the snow flies, I switch over to Fireline Crystal for my float setups. Nanofil definitely has it's time/place however. Love that stuff.

I hate when companies discontinue great baits. Rapala Flat Rap FLR10 would be a great example. Love those for spring pike.

Only time I use stabilizer is for the last tank of the year. I buy whatever is available. Used Star Tron a few times, no issues.

Brook trout season is over (closes Sept 15th)... Just dropping in and fishing that river without someone who knows it really isn't a good idea. I'd plan your stay better and hire a guide like Gord Ellis for example.

Yup, fish are definitely scattered. Once mid Oct hits watch out! If you've still got the rig up on PS, we should drown some big sucker minnows. It's kinda like cheating but man it's fun lol.

Depends on what I'm using it for. I've been using Phantom flouro on my centerpin setups for years (4-8lb), super string and price is right. If I'm spring pike fishing I'll use 30/40lb Seaguar. Everyday bass fishing 20lb whatever. Muskie, unless I'm trolling I've converted over to solid wire for everything.

With all that wasted gas you probably could have hired a guide. That's what I'd do if you want a legit shot at a muskie. Kawarthas is definitely the place to do it, large population of fish. Shouldn't be hard to get into one this time of year.
