  1. If this is going to be your last rain suit, spend the $$ on something like Cabelas Guidewear. That being said a lot of guys like Frogg Toggs which are much more budget friendly.
  2. I'd love a glass boat, but only on certain days.
  3. I've been 'moping' smallies for years and didn't even know it
  4. Lots of great PPs. 6 Mile is nice and close, decent fishing. Massassauga is great as well but requires a bit of planning.
  5. Depending on who you were walking behind at the Odyssey this was a very possible outcome as well lol.
  6. Hit the Odyssey yesterday with a buddy, felt like a sardine when attempting to walk around. That venue should have been 3 times as big, hopefully next year they find somewhere else. Now onto the positives.. Nice to see a bunch of the baitmakers out there, the BWB setup was on point. The Pro panel was great as well, the amount of knowledge sitting up there was ridiculous. Nice surprise when hitting up Gagnons for a break from the show as, 30% off St.Croix Muskie rods. I picked up 3 lol.
  7. Hard to beat the 60in 24V 80lb Terrova. I've had mine since I believe 2012? I had to replace the actuator on the front in order to stow it, but that's about it. Simple grease job after each season is all that I do. I love that motor.
  8. Sounds like I need to visit Mike this summer lol
  9. Thorpe without hesitation, although I'm guessing you'd have to book a few years out
  10. Only in Michigan lol
  11. Ulterra definitely requires it's owners to keep up on maintenance.
  12. Lots of guys guiding on the Larry.
  13. 24V Terrova 60in 80lb without a doubt. I use the foot pedal way more then I ever use the hand held, especially when I'm musky fishing.
  14. I find the 'bonus' of using CBP is that I end up declaring the value of the goods 99% of the time. I always forget a 0 or 2 lol.
  15. Crossborderpickups my man. Makes shipping things directly to Canada and all the Bull that comes along with it a thing of the past.
  16. Weize 12V 100ah Lithium has a 10 year warranty, currently selling for $299 US. So $600US + charger and you've got a nice setup for your TM.
  17. If you're going to use these and charge them in below zero temps you'll want a battery with an integrated low temp sensor. Below a certain point it will cut off charging if the temp is too low. Those Will Prowse vids are great, I love the fact he rips a lot of these apart and shows you why some are good and some are garbage. Some of the really decent ones are selling for real cheap on Amazon.com. Would be nice to replace the two Group 31 AGMs I've got upfront for the TM.
  18. I'd also be buying from the US and using a service like Crossborderpickups. Seems like we're still paying a really high premium over here.
  19. Dakota is banking on you thinking their name means anything and paying the price for it. From the little research I've done there it seems like due to expiring patents more and more companies are jumping on the bandwagon and producing them. Check out Will Prowse on Youtube, he goes through a lot of manufacturers, you'll figure out which batteries are worth it and which one's aren't. I've never pay the premium for Dakota lithiums btw.
  20. Try this website? https://www.oldboatbrochures.com/#P
  21. Buckets!
  22. They're on borrowed time, I've never been pulled over as much as I have in PS by the MNR.
  23. Because fish like largemouth won't feed until they get back to their home waters. Gord Pyzer talked about this at the fishing show. Fish will eventually die (He gave a few examples)..
  24. The worst are the guys claiming personal bests with OOS fish lol. It's crazy to me that people can lack simple common sense.
  25. Would be nice if this puts a stop to people taking pics of OOS fish.
