I was on Lake Muskoka yesterday, and there was tons of ice....little bit of a crust on top from all the water...but easy walking and a solid 18" of ice.

That is an amazing report....looks like a great time.....and Terry pulling fish out like crazy! Love the helmet cam video....Kokoko is a real gem....one day I'll do a trip like that.

Very impressive....love the shots of the fish with the ice floes in the background. Can I sign up for a centrepin lesson soon?

Going out on Sunday....but seriously torn between Simcoe and a long walk, or Lake Muskoka and a short walk....wanna see if the walleye in my avatar has any more friends....

Was supposed to take the young lad snowboarding today....and was hoping we'd make a quick stop on Simcoe...but that all got washed down the drain. So we hit up a little Laser Tag action, followed up by indoor go karts...worked out well. Now I'm feeling a mite nappish

Nice job, Wayne....too bad about the lack of fishing action, but there is simply no such thing as a bad trip to Temagami. The on Kokoko really burns me up though....that lake is just way too special for the likes of his kind to be out there....I'm glad the fish didn't co-operate. Anyhow...great read and pics....maybe you'll get a chance to get up again before the lake softens up.

Ben -- I swear I was using my Lindy Darter first....but I was told that orange was the go-to colour, and the only orange darter I had was a salmo Still no fish on that thing...but the Lindy is getting scuffed up nicely

The person's fame has nothing to do with it for me -- it's their experience....these guys fish a LOT more than I do....and I never really saw them talking on the board about how great the Rapala's were....not to say I don't love the 'raps....but guys as experienced as these see something special about LT lures and that jumps out at me. They also seem to be pretty down to earth guys and to me that makes them believable. But that's just me...and we don't have to agree....here at the wonderful OFC.....

Great little unit....not a horrible deal at all. I've got the 76csx and it's fantastic.
