Got out for a quick couple of hours on Saturday night on Lake Muskoka. Thanks to the expert guidance of a friend who knows his way around out there, I iced this beauty 25.5" eye. Hit a live minnow on a green jig that was next to me while I jigged an orange chubby darter. Quite possibly the largest fish I've ever pulled through the ice....definitely the biggest eye I would have a much lengthier report about my travels the following day to Trout Creek and surrounding area....but it was a bit of a skunk-fest....so it's best left undisclosed

LOL -- I was going to say that the tails didn't look perfectly square... Nice fish...good on you for getting out. Now get your license and get out some more!

Yes...they can be annoying....but I still have to give it up to what I think is a whipoorwhil for most annoying....just about the only thing that prevents me from a good night's sleep while camping.

Being on foot, I'm glad I stayed off Simcoe this morning. Got set up a little further north before the wind got stupid....man was that insane. Really nice laker, Joey....and Terry that whitefish is makin me hungry! I'm stunned that Lloyd got outfished....by TERRY! Hope you get your sled fixed soon Lloyd....

Exactly....no point driving around the lake to access it any further from your house than necessary...get to it and head for the middle! LOL That's about my best guess from nearly every report I read. Was sorely tempted to do a monster walk on Saturday morning....but only have a few precious hours, so I'm hitting up a smaller lake instead.

That makes sense....but...I can't avoid tangling while I'm jigging....never mind reeling in a fish. You can jig that deep without catching the other line right beside you? HOW?!?! I've tried not moving the jig too much...but even then....I'm catching the other line within 15 minutes.

Nice video -- I have a burning question for you though -- I noticed 3 holes in your hut...one for your jiggin line, one for the flasher, and one for what I assume was your live bait line. How the heck do you keep your lines from tangling in 85 FOW?? Or am I wrong....and the live bait line was further away?
