The only channel that gets static from the F/F is 69, mind you , my F/F is ancient and I'm not about to put it to pasture yet. If you're getting static on all channels, then I'm suspecting you have a questionable quality F/F/GPS and it shouldn't be doing that.

Don't worry, I have to relearn that process every time I try. As long as you use the same hand for holding the toilet paper every day, then you've got the big stuff covered.

This beast was brand new, no demo or salesman special. The funny thing happened when I ordered it, they had a hell of a time finding one with a floor mounted 4x4 and 6 speed and either silver or beige. They had to take mine off the rail car in Chicago and send it up here. Then they lost it in a parking storage lot for about 3 weeks. It was supposed to go to somewhere in Alberta.

That's interesting about having the 4th chain link stamped. I wonder if it's only for load binders. I checked on my new cargo trailer, no identifying marks. I guess having twists in your straps could be related to not having knots in your shorts.. Well just checked, some of the quick links have their SWLL, safe working load limit stamped on the side, the cheap made in C don't. The chains on my trailer have a little aluminu tag with the SWLL.

Somehow nylon nets seem to look like an "invasive specie" to me, but I'll leave it at that, I'm sure they weren't listed in the treaty.

No I'm a wary packrat when it comes to warranties and sales bills. I've got both the big yellow copy of the bill of sale dated 14 July 04 and the same for the warranty contract. Then I also found the MTO change of registration which was done by the dealer on the 19 of July, I think they were trying to apply a screwdriver to me, they called me back and will now hour the 14 of July date.

Every time Nipissing walleye are mentioned on this site, or in public, the commercial fishery is discussed, usually in a negative manner. This was a good article in my opinion and it shows that there is more than one issue with our dear lake. Everyone has their opinion, but if you were to reduce or remove the biggest problem, I dare say the fish population would slowly return to very sustainable rates that would benefit everyone.

Back in June '04 I starting looking for a new truck, ended up buying a 2004.5 2500, put a down payment and then finalized the sale on the 14 of July 2004. At that time I added the 7/115km extended warranty. I didn't receive the truck until the 19th of July, waiting for PDI, undercoat and fabric protector. The change of ownership was done on the 19th of July by the dealer. The average person would understand that the 7/115km warranty would end on the 14th of July 2011, right? Go to the dealer today, 2 days before warranty is up and have them look at the right side ball joints, they're pooched. Then the service manager says, your warranty expired on 30 Jun 2011. Whoa just a minute, showed him my original bill of sale, etc. He said the warranty expires when the vehicle "comes into service" or delivered at the dealer. Okay, I retorted, that means if you have a brand new vehicle sitting on your lot for 6 months for example, when a customer buys that the warranty is shorted by six months. I asked him if he would buy that, he sheepishly said no. Better call Chrysler and iron that out unless you want to make the news. So nuff said, check your paperwork when you buy.

I wish they'd add gill nets to the list.

I think the weak spot has been found, the motors not too heavy, it's the boat, it can't handle it. Some of the wood I've seen in transoms is pretty questionable, probably the cheapest grade the mfgrs could get away with.

If those little buttons were any smaller, nothing would happen, nobody could see them.

No you weren't the only one, I thought the website was down and had to go hunting. Now there's just the itty bitty dinky little things at the bottom of the page to click on for "add a reply and quote".

Ha, sent you a PM on the other one, yes I use them, 2 for the boat trailer and one for the trailer to the front of the boat eyebolt.

I have the same scenario with the piece of wood. When I bought my Princecraft with the 25 Honda longshaft, the dealer added the piece of wood about 1 inch thick to get the motor to sit in the right place. My transom is still straight across after 15 years, I used a transom saver right from the start.

They have a 240 x 160 pixel count which is quite acceptable, down to 600 ft. It will give you everything that you have asked for. The sister brand, Eagle has similar units called Cuda, my son uses one year round, no problems. Bass Pro has the one you're looking for listed at $79 US.

The best choice of gas for any particular motor is probably what is written in the manual that comes with the motor when new, or quite often on line for second handers. A quality stabilizer or product that prevents additive(ethanol) separation is also advised. I think as long as you keep your tank(container) sealed from outside air unless underway, will keep out a lot of the moisture. If you use the motor on a regular basis, I don't think there are any worries either. Gas that sits around for any period of time, vent open, etc is more likely to cause you grief. Solution... go fish often. BTW, I wonder how many have really, really have read their motor manual before they flung it in the corner.

Okay this is getting a better than great rating, 3 cheers for Brian

Yes that's the right fitting and there are instructions right on the side of the box that the tank comes in. Take out the 4 screws that hold the part on the tank, screw in the Johnson fitting and then replace the assembly with the 4 screws. Poof-done.

Sounds like someone grabbed the wrong pair of underwear and things are a little tight and sweaty.

That's mother nature at work, amazing shots.

With or without brakes, measure from center to center on the spring perches and from hub face to hub face. Then check at Princess Auto on line.
