Just my opinion but I think this thread has gotten a loooong ways off topic from where it started. A guy had his boat tied to his dock and some fisherman made a cast and snagged his seat. If anyone here wouldn't be pi$$ed if that happened to THEIR boat I'd be interested in hearing why ??

Those portable garages are pretty good Steve and I think I've seen them 25' long so you may be able to find the size you need. Another good option is to see if you can find a farm around your area who rents space in their barn. I used to store my last boat high & dry inside a barn for $150 for the entire winter.

Very dark here with clear skies this morning so I took my coffee out to the back deck about 3:45 and sat for the next hour watching the light show and it was well worth it. I counted 41 meteors, 5 satellites and 1 bat Great way to start the day

Cloudy here this morning so nothing visible. Oh well, maybe it'll clear up for tonight.....hopefully.

A group of us were at a cottage on the West Arm of Nippissing last August during the meteor shower and it was great sitting outside in near total darkness watching it. Fantastic show of Mother Nature at her finest. We're heading back up there again this Saturday but may not see it this year because of the date and also the clouds and rain their predicting. Definetely worth watching if anyone has the chance !!

Great account of your fishing adventure and excellent pictures too. Scary stuff with your finger and good to hear it's healing up OK. I got cut by a musky tooth one time but waited about 9 hours before going to the hospital. It required 8 stitches to close and the doctor told me that lake water is one of the worst things for a cut and NEVER wait that long to get it treated.

Always nice when things work out the way their sposed to !!

What's the game plan Matt ?? Are you planning on us all meeting at the hotel in Montreal Friday night, then fishing Saturday & Sunday and heading for home on the Monday ?? My concern is it being a long weekend with heavy holiday traffic on Friday evening and the distances we'll have to travel from Burlington and Peterboro area.

My fishing days all seem soooo boring compared to some of the days you guys seem to have. Nobody ever yells at me, I never have to yell back at THEM, nobody throws stones at me or threatens to call the cops, no one drives their boat at me to scare me away, or even dives in the water and swims around me to scare the fish away I just go out on the lake, maybe catch a fish or 2 if I'm lucky, and then go home again Maybe I need to take up dock fishing to add some excitement to my days on the water

That's too bad Jer, but as you said above, perhaps they don't carry as big an inventory now as they did in the old place.

I drove down to Toronto and back today Joey and went thru alot of very heavy rain, specially up this way. Infact going across the Chemong Causeway about 11:00 I could hardly see across the lake. Saw a couple guys motoring in to the boat ramp and they looked like a pair of drowned ducks, but then again, they probably caught more fish today than I did

Good to hear your trip went so well Dan and best of luck to your brother. Memquisit is a nice place, we spent a week there last summer and are heading back up next Saturday again. Don't feel too bad about the poorer than normal fishing up there this year, it's happening to most foklks because of the lower water levels and late start to the weeds. Hopefully things will be better next year. Surprised to see you were able to get thru the cut as that's a tight squeeze even when the water is at normal levels Thanks for the great report !!
