  1. Red line doesn't become invisible, it just appears black as it gets deeper. I think it's actually marketed to catch more fishermen than fish, but I could be wrong on that one
  2. Where bouts do you live Boss, it'll make it easier for folks to know who to recommend.
  3. Coulda been one of those nasty old St. Lawrence River muskies cruising along under your boat
  4. Fishmaster is a member of this board, why not just send him a PM yourself and ask whatever you need to know. He's a good guy and will answer all your questions.
  5. I'll have a pork chop instead, thankya very much
  6. Big chunky pike, really nice !! Been a very long time since that big girl was called a snot rocket.
  7. Great story and congrats on your 1st ever musky !!
  8. Some nice fish there Bob and great to see the smile on that little guys face in the bottom picture !!
  9. Nuthin nicer than a big stringer of musky dragging behind the boat at the end of the day
  10. Excellent story, specially the part about the musky, they sure do like to make things interesting sometimes Sounds like a fun vacation for everybody !!
  11. That stach is purty near as old as me Marvin Like I said above, I never, ever weigh fish and that hog may honestly be the only fish I've ever weighed in close to 60 years of fishing. I'm only going by the average of what 2 scales said, and who knows how accurate those things are anyhoo Whatever the weight, it's certainly the largest bass I'll probably ever see again
  12. Good choice on the Tekota Pete, it's an excellent reel for trolling big baits.
  13. There's one more.
  14. Our November musky plans have changed so there's every chance I'll be making the Quinte pickeral trip this year. Haven't made the November trip since the 1st fall OFC g2g...5 or 6 years back ?? The year of the BIG KA....BOOM
  15. The only deer shooting I ever do is with my camera in my own backyard
  16. I haven't fished for bass in years and NEVER weigh fish as the weight of a fish just doesn't seem important to me, but I do carry scales in the boat incase any of my guests want to weigh something. When I saw this big girl though, I thought she was worthy of putting her on a scales. I was casting shallow water for musky using a #5 Mepps. A spring scale put her at 7.14 pounds and a digital showed her at 8.2 pounds. Don't know how accurate the scales were but they were both fairly close to each other. Whatever it was, she was a definate trophy largemouth.
  17. Perhaps I forgot to mention a new Skeeter/Yamaha combo I bought last year....does that count as a fishing expense ??
  18. Funny how that works, eh ??
  19. I've got a housefull of excellent gear and haven't bought anything in a couple years. I think alot of stuff catches more fishermen than fish
  20. Thanks Mike, reading stories like that is always a great way to start a day.
  21. Hey John, that little chippie was looking for Brent last week
  22. Some very impressive fish you and your son have there natron, your gonna fit into this fish'n board very nicely !!
  23. I use a product called On & Off that I picked up at my boat dealer. It's specially made for cleaning glass boats and really works well. Brush it on, rinse it off and the boat is spotless. http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=8829&familyName=On+Off+Gel+Hull+%26+Bottom+Cleaner
  24. Vehicle manufacturers recommendation, you'll find it on a sticker inside your door.
