  1. Yeah Paul, and if you buy a Merc you'll need to be towed back to the dock everyday
  2. Pretty sure we were already paying taxes on gasoline tax so now we're paying a tax on a tax on the taxes. I'm just glad I can HONESTLY say I didn't vote for these thieves that imposed this on us.
  3. Happy Birthday Jacques & all the best to ya !! Looks like you had a great day out with your daughter!!

  8. Thanks for the report BB, sounds like the fishing has been kinda tough all over the lake so far this year. I'm heading for the West Arm on Saturday for a week so hopefully things pick up. Weather reports for the next couple weeks look favorable, at least down here, so that may turn them on.
  9. Without a doubt the greatest country on earth !! Enjoy the holiday folks
  10. I had a longshaft 6 HP Merc kicker on a 16' Crestliner, although their a pretty wide boat at 87". 15 HP is alot bigger and it may be a tight squeeze on a 16 footer
  11. I have a one year old 150 Yamaha 4 stroke and the manual says to use a MINIMUM of 86 octane but says nothing about using higher grades, so by that I'd assume the high octane is perfectly safe Life used to be so simple before the world went hi-tech
  12. If your motor is an older MinnKota PowerDrive the problem is probably in the circuit board under the foot control. Their famous for not working and have been a source of problems for year.
  13. Pete, my brother was a great bass & pickeral fisherman but hardly ever fished for musky and had no gear for them. I invited him out one morning and as we pulled into a little bay that I have a lotta luck in I gave him a rod and a favorite musky bait of mine. He clipped it on, went to the back deck and on the very 1st cast of the morning he got a musky. I hadn't even put the troll motor in the water yet. He said, "well, there's nuthin to catching these things, let's go try for something else" Oh, nice musky for you too BTW Pete , sorry for the hijack
  14. WTG, some really nice fish there. Luv the shot of the goats !!
  15. I'm pretty sure Tightlines on Brock Rd. in Pickering carries the Triumph Just south of the 401
  16. Yeah, it was Bill. Almost like they couldn't fix it under warranty as I broke it thru my own stupidity but they had to charge me something, so it's like OK...gimme 5 bucks

  20. Lunkerville is a show I really enjoy watching, just because it really is simple and down to earth without all the spam & glitter of most shows offered today. Goodonya for being the 1st Canadian guest and please post a reminder for us in November whan it's gonna be aired.
  21. You'd like it up there Johnny, it's absolutely gorgeous !!
  22. Thanks again Joey, I think I know where you mean....maybe Jeeeez, it took us all these years to learn where the bad spots were up there and now we have to start learing all over again. Maybe you wanna book off sick next week and come up as my guide ??
