Check on the side of the tire for the pressure. My trailer tire calls for 50 lbs.. the tire on my pop up trailer wants 80 lbs

Grouse is very good.. pound the breast flat and roll in bread crumbs with parmesean cheese and fry in butter... Spruce Grouse isn't my favorite though..

She may already have a buyer.. could be family or friends or even a client looking to buy.. Determine what you want and if the agent won't agree, there are lots of others who will..

One other thing.. how the heck does an operator build such nice camps so far into the wilds?? The docks alone beat the ones at camps along the highways.. -

I haven't yet watched the videos but what a trip.. I don't think I would feel too comfortable on such big water so far from civilization .. -
Pro sports leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth . With baseball you have rich teams basically buying championships since there is no real salary cap.. The NFL is a money making machine that holds cities hostage in order to get new stadiums, some of which get replaced even before taxpayers pay for it .. as for hockey, Gary Bettman insists on putting teams where they have no business case.. the maple leafs tampering with the city selection process to prevent Hamilton from entering the league ... It goes on and on.. money ruins sports... kind of why I like the CFL.. players in it for the love of the game, certainly not for the money..

I hope his family finds peace once they see the place he loved so dearly..

I had a cottage in Kinmount and the family that owned the 1000 acres around the us were the biggest worry for theft.. it's likely a local that makes a living from theft. I would put up a spy point camera that has a remote receiver for the SD card. That way you can tell who did it even if they destroy or take the camera..

Wow, it's about time but there will be dissenters for sure..

Minnow traps were $6.. not bad.. some of their prices were a little higher to start at.. I also picked up a battery box( the larger one) for $11.. -
All this political talk makes my head spin!! ..when I was visiting my cousin in PEI we got a tip off to where Duffys cottage was...very underwhelming to say the least.. just a typical cottage bungalow, nothing that would stand out that's for sure

Rush lake is pretty small compared to head lake.. neither has great fishing from what I've heard..
-
I had the same issue when I was crappie fishing in the spring.. I was in a canoe near the shore catching some nice ones right under me and 2 guys on land showed up and put their floats right next to the canoe...

Same thing in Turkey Point... With no other option to launch they have you right where they want you.. what other ramps are there nearby? Port Dover is expensive too but smaller boats can launch in the creek for free...

Every life jacket should have a whistle on it.. especially a child's jacket.. preferably a fox 40 that will work when wet..

I'm sure there are a lot of people besides myself who are checking this thread for the inevitable announcement. The fact that she is holding on goes to show her spirit and will to live.. she is truly one of a kind.. I don't really pray but I will today...

My thoughts are with your family tonight.. she's one tough cookie!!

I'm thinking the ramp is a little too smooth... and most people wouldn't think the slime is a problem. Some boats just don't come off the trailer unless the truck hits water.. It's been a while since I've used this ramp so I can't remember if it's shallow or not..

sounds like Gourmet Meats.. great place with very good quality.. They have a smokehouse on site for bacon etc..

once a vehicle is submerged all the wiring harnesses and electronics are toast. The new parts plus installation would quickly surpass the value. People learned the hard way with Katrina cars that showed up for sale..it doesn't take long for things to go bad.. It's a good ramp normally but being in a sheltered bay makes the water very warm and susceptible to slime...
-
2 in a week! The free launch is in a sheltered bay which warms up enough to allow for seaweed and algae to make the ramp slippery...lol http://www.thespec.com/news-story/5751420-two-trucks-slide-into-bay-at-hamilton-boat-launch/

It's a great little spot.. one of my favorites...love the smiles

One of my favorite books is about swamp and bogs.. it explains each plant in detail and what the natives used it for.. water Hemlock was a common suicide plant because it is quick and relatively painless..

Beautiful trip and story.. thanks Mike! -
There's a lot of behind the scenes politics with first nations government. This is why self government would not work in most communities at this time. A young native I know was being groomed to be chief of a small band but he chose a career in policing instead.. he saw the writing on the wall. I can only imagine the turmoil in the band when the suspect seems to be related to the chief..
