I always replace the rims and tires at the same time because my white rims usually have a lot of paint peeling after 6 years.. That and it's almost cheaper to buy a set of mounted tires ready to go..
-
I don't take chances with a tire that has cracks along the tread lines but if there aren't any and its simply a slow leak then I would use the slime.. Trailer tires and rims usually have to be replaced at the same time unless they are the fancy aluminum or galvanized ones. One thing that I started to do is to put old tires and rims on the trailer in the off season so I can store the good tires indoors.. The frequency of new tires also depends on if you are traveling on the highway versus secondary roads..

I have a tree company that supplies me for wood.. They text me the address and I go pick it up. I bought a splitter from Canadian tire for a grand and so far my buddy and I have split 20 face cords.. I have a high efficiency wood insert but they don't seem to heat like a wood stove can.. Either way the gas fireplace upstairs and the insert downstairs has the house warm enough that the furnace is still turned off..

The ice can be dicey.. Some of the ones I fish only have safe ice in really cold years.. Jordan Harbour on Lake Ontario is popular but it swells with the lake and there's a lot of sand and grit embedded in it so it dulls your blades..

I caught one recently in a rat trap near my chicken coop.. Not intentionally of course.. I would have to be a licensed trapper to do that.. I think the going rate at auction is less than 5 bucks each.. Hardly worth it..
-
I had a spike buck in my sights but he was in some really tall grass at about 30 yards. I passed on the shot rather than try to shoot and possibly just injure him.. I have seen deer each time out but that was the best opportunity so far..

The white is nice but I just need the font a little bigger...

One question I would ask is what you would be using it for?.. There are models made for utility and some for performance..

Test..

I was heading to st joe's in downtown Hamilton when the Lancaster, a Herc and the B25 flew over. Everyone on the street stopped what they were doing and watched. The hospital stopped for a moment of silence followed by the reading of Flanders Fields. The warplane museum is a special place and I remember attending when there was 5-600 in attendance.. It's up to 3000 people now..

This thread is entertaining.. Lol.. I hate working for some retired people.. Sometimes they don't realize how busy I am with work, Renos at home, property maintenance, cutting firewood etc.. I don't know why I even get the newspaper because I don't have enough time to read it...

This won't go over well.. The Pinery is a very popular park.. I wonder if I could occupy someone's yard where my family used to own property in Binbrook.. Not my fault that my ancestors sold it without thinking of future generations..

I love the ones with the red colouring.. I usually get one or two of them each year..

Nice tribute on SNL to him as well as the victims who died in in Las Vegas. Jason Aldean, who was onstage during the shooting spree sang won't back down..

The walters are certainly a nice bonus!

My uncle lives in Clare on a beautiful little lake chock full of small mouth and chain pickeral. They look very much like a Pike to me.. My second favorite place in NS is Meat Cove. Amazing view from the top of the mountain and the chowder is the best. The stories of the locals and the mysterious fires is interesting..

I could weather a few weeks without power even if it was winter..

With Irma bearing down and political instability in North Korea, I can see it staying high for a while..

Word in Caledonia is that there is a huge rift in native communities over the blockade. The OPP stopped a group on 6th line that was headed towards it with the intent of clearing it themselves.. -
I usually don't have any trouble finding wood.. I sometimes follow the city or their contractors and load up when they are done or on lunch. I got 4 good loads of ash out of confederation park in Hamilton when they were cutting there in the spring. I don't know of anyone who would sell logs around here but that would be a good idea for the years where I couldn't scrounge enough.. Splitting it is a different thing, I usually rent a splitter once a year but I'd love to find a good used one..

I took all my gas cans and filled them up at 99 cents a litre the day before it was supposed to be going up 5 cents because I knew that little increase was too good to be true. It's 30 cents higher and I still have 75 litres left. People complain about the price of gas but still go to Esso and pay 10 to 15 cents more than it costs at Costco or Pioneer. I save a couple of hundred dollars a year just planning my shopping and gas stops.. Better in my pocket than in the big oil companies ..

I could kill them with a sling shot up at Moose camp.. Usually I use the 410 but I may also bring my 1200 fps pellet gun this year. The Grouse won't flush but they will run three steps into the bush and wait for you to walk past..

It's up to the people of Caledonia to fix this because the government and police won't help.. If I lived there I would encourage a blockade of sixth line.. "Mr. Hill" is the only reason that it moved down the road.. He has a lot of influence and would have at least one blockade gone just by saying the word.. -
There are a lot of Walleye caught in the Bay near the Williams cafe right off the docks. I personally wouldn't eat them but it's a beautiful area to fish.
