I would have said support Lloyd a fellow ofnr. But, it would be tight, no fun. Try Eddie of Square Tail charters out of Port Credit, he is a great guy and gets into the bigguns.

It is a day out during the winter. Deals can be had to a certain extent, you just have to see who will give you the best price on a given item. I agfee that the days of the smoking deals are done with the advent of online stores. Get out see whats out and have fun.

1000-3500 depending on the park, location, size of lot, trailer, hydro. Lots of variables. We were at a small park with 9 trailers in HH that was awesome for our family. It was a community and I will miss that. My girls will remember that trailer and place fondly for the rest of their lives.

Boaters test too easy? Sort of Fishing
bigbuck replied to DundasSteelheader's topic in General Discussion
I did the test in Honey Harbour 4 years ago. I set the record, I was done in under 10 mins and only got two wrong. I had only skimmed the study guide and never really read in in depth. The cute young things that were there selling the test could not believe it. It is pretty much a joke. -

Wayne, Jen is in my thoughts and prayers today. I wish you guys all the luck in the world. -
Very nice Lew!! We are kicking around the idea of putting a propane stove in the basement of the cottage to keep things semi warm and dry during the winter months. At least you don't need to keep the fire stoked all night long on these cold winter nights.

Dealing with docs isn't easy at the best of times. I'm waiting on a CT scan to see if I'm in the clear with regards to my lymph nodes and organs. If I am, I've got 1 more chemo treatment to go then maintenance treatments once every 3 months. -

Good for you. I'm hoping to do mine later this spring and get out deer hunting this fall. -
Losing weight is all about making healthier choices for yourself. I have found the best way is to not eat anything after 8pm, cut down the amount of starchs I eat and stay away from fast food. The best advice was given to me by a cardiologist regarding vegetables, eat all you want of veggies that grow above the ground, limit your intake of those that grow below the ground. Stay away from WHITE, whether it be bread, sugar or potatoes. Good luck fellas.

My experiences with Home Hardware have been pretty good whether it was in Gravenhurst, up in Kenora or Port Hope. The service was far superior to Home Depot. HD may have better pricing than HH on some items BUT the help and service outweighs price in most instances. They may not always have a lot of stock on many items but they can always order something in. As for your recent visit, a new tank has to be purged before it can be filled. That adds to the cost of your fill.

That must have been scary waiting for the test results. I lost a bunch of weight last year and it turned out to be the big C. For a thyroid problem, you would probably be on meds for quite a while. Dont worry about taking those pesky little pills, think of that little bundle of joy.

Honey Harbour has lots of fishing opportunities. That time of year uou are looking at pickeral and pike. As for finding a private cottage WITH a boat, that's tough, reason being all the rocks in the area. Good luck.

A stainless prop could help you. Usually you go up a pitch when going to stainless. That helps top speed. You will probably need to try out a couple of different props to see which works best for you. A good prop shop should be able to help. Stainless is great for lakes with sandy bottoms. I boated and fished Georgian Bay, Ive seen what happens to an aluminum prop when it hits a shoal, it gets shredded and the skeg gets mangled, thats usually it. A stainless prop doesnt break and transfers the impact right on up, wrecking the prop shaft causing thousands in damage. Terry, the hubs may help but ultimately the blades dont shear off easily and damage will occur. Lew, you got Real lucky. Ranger, i would try out a prop that is lower in pitch to get some bow lift, you will probably lose a bit of speed but it may work. it sounds like you have more than just prop issues. Has Lund been any help? What about Yamaha?

Watch your weenies everyone this is a crime

PriceClub/Costco started playing games with packaging 20yrs ago. Pop came in 24 can cases. Along they come and demand 18 packs from the pop cos. We would sell a case for 4.99, they would sell the short case for 4.49 and people thought they were getting a deal. If you want to be a smart shopper, you need to know your Unit Costs. It kills me every time i see these games being played. -
NF - Towing/effect on fuel economy question
bigbuck replied to funfishing's topic in General Discussion
Id be thinking about 15-20% per thousand pounds. Towing sucks fuel. Thats the price we must pay. Speed is also a huge factor. Keep it to the limit and you will save, rush and you will pay. I usually trailer my boat which pretty much maxes out my minivans towing cap during off hours when i can take my time. I get about 16mpg keeping it to a hundred kph or less with an 03 Olds Silhouette, normally, i get 23-26mpg depending on speed and driving conditions. Just remember to keep it out of overdrive, if your transmission is constantly shifting, it will heat up and fail prematurely. -
My old Site in Honey Harbour is up for grabs. It's on a small park with 9-10 trailers 11 rental cottages and seasonal docking. It is truly a great spot for families. Everything you need is within walking distance ie.groceries, liquor store, bakery, ice cream shop, and library. If you are interested, PM me for more details.

I have the Uniden Atlantis and it is fine for my purposes. A fixed mount may be better for you if you are out on Lake O. For Simcoe, a handheld should be fine.

Good luck!! I lost 25lbs last year by going on the 'keep your dang mouth shut diet' I have patented it. Nothing but water after 8pm and be more realistic about what you eat. Try to walk as much as you can. Exercise makes any diet much more efficient.
