  1. ...your neighbour sounds confused...
  2. that is crazy. What a fish, and what a day!
  3. great report. I started weightless fishing about 20 years ago and have never gone back. You're right about watching the line! I'm often setting hooks before even feeling anything. A few days ago I posted my cottage for rent in the classifieds section and the bass shown in that thread were also all caught with some kind of weightless presentation. These are some real beauties you got into! Congrats
  4. wow those bass are huge! nice
  5. ...just don't eat the candy that comes out of it
  6. all the best, hope you're the heck out of there soon!
  7. now THAT'S a bass! congrats on the pb
  8. fantastic! I wish my little guys had the patience to go musky fishing...extra lines in the water woohooo!
  9. Altitude...I need altitude...Didn't think he'd get airborne on that last one
  10. can't go wrong!
  11. ...either her fish was a white supremest or perhaps you mean aerial...nice fish either way
  12. I've got 4 little guys under the age of 7...are you telling me my house is about to get very stinky? How long will the offensive odour last? I'm 42 now, will I ever smell a normal house again as a working man? retired man? ever?
  13. eat a largemouth?? Might as well drink a cup of bilge water to wash it down...yuck (mind you I can barely choke down pickerel so possibly not your most reliable source for opinion)
  14. in the immortal words of J.J...Dy-no-mite
  15. great video, sure glad he added "we're allowed to use 2 rods"...for most of the bodies of water in southern ontario this whole leaving a bait over the side of the boat while you continue to cast could get you in a whole heap of trouble.
  16. I've fished there a couple of times, but only because our cottage is around the corner and wanted some variety. Its got bass, pickerel, pike and musky. We did ok (not great)for pike, and caught a decent pickerel by accident. Kind of a so so lake, one of the few with musky out there but they are pretty hard to come by
  17. ya, I included CTC more based on the hotdogs outside and the "place to meet" comment (good parking). Good luck getting more than 2 cars into Divers Nook lot, and if you're towing boats you may never get out.
  18. that was an awesome read and set of photos. Can't believe the way she poses so comfortably with the fish! The dang carp is bigger than her!
  19. haha thats great. congrats on your successful outings
  20. good stuff, lots of variety to keep them busy (and jealous!)
  21. haha I was going to post that I don't think there has ever been a 30 inch bass in the history of the world...until someone posted about the world record and its length. Either way, its a nice fish but somewhere in the neighbourhood of 21 or 22 inches is more realistic. Congrats on the catch
  22. wow, that fish is just plain ugly
  23. There's a Canadian Tire (with hot dog vendor!!!)just off the hwy at Bowes St. in Parry Sound, also a small tackle/bait shop called Divers Nook farther along Bowes but minimal parking there. There used to be a place on the west side of 69 not too far north of Parry Sound but I haven't been there for a few years now, can't confirm if its still there
  24. ...somebody told him to pose with a 35 inch fish
  25. ....ya, guess I shouldn't complain about the snotrockets
